The staff were super welcoming and helpful especially Fernando. Dinner at The Collab was exceptional. The food was excellent and the restaurant has a chic vibe. The rooftop pool and terrace are nice.

The hotel wouldnt honor the VIP perks for $30 credit per room. I was told a manager would call me when I checked out and no one called. I called and left a message for the manager and no one is returning my call.

We were missing drinking glasses in the room and also wanted a mini fridge. The staff immediately attended to what we needed. When we arrived they had free champagne in the lobby and poured us some. The valet staff was great too. No delay in getting our car. Excellent stay.

On the plus side, the champagne upon check-in and coffee station in the morning was awesome. The staff seemed very friendly overall. Otherwise, there was dog poop all over the sidewalk outside and around the property. It seemed like that would be something you’d want to keep an eye on if you boast about being pet friendly and having a pet relief station. Also, we requested a bowl with a room service order and they strangely refused it. When we went down to ask for one after they said no to go ask the restaurant and the restaurant said no? Such a simple request and I was surprised at how unaccommodating that was. Lastly, the room was TINY and didn’t even have a fridge. I felt robbed at what we paid for that room.

This is our go-to property anytime we visit the University of Miami. The pool was closed for maintenance on the last day of the stay, which is the only reason for the four stars for facilities, but our stay was excellent otherwise as usual.
