Only problem was the tv didn't work but, who goes to South Beach to watch tv. Location was very convenient to most everything. The drinks at the bar are 4 times more expensive than they should be but, there are plenty of places near by to get a drink.

The shower did not drain properly. The sheets didn’t appear to be fresh. Carpets in hallways were stained and dirty. This is my 3rd time using this property but it is unfortunately my last. Must keep abreast with cleanliness.

The room is pretty basic but it’s safe and the bed was comfortable. Location was perfect for my solo trip I could get a Uber right at the corner of Collins and 8th ! There’s a bar /restaurant on the first level I had a tight itinerary so I didn’t try it but very convenient still . Walking distance to rainbow shops in case you need a quick cost effective fit. And the best part is walking to the beach in less than 2 mins ! Also they offered a free drink nightly at another hotel in close proximity.

I always stay at the Whitelaw. They’re a good property. Takes forever to get your deposit back but other than that. They’re great.

This was my worst nightmare This was Hotel Horror from the minute we checked in I was mortified I booked everything through Expedia and paid in full however Expedia used a undisclosed 3rd party who added undisclosed fees in excess of $135 which I was not made aware of nor informed about Miguel at the front desk informed me that my reservation was 3rd partied so the unexpected fees were that company's fee who I didn't book anything with! After paying the additional fees we're given a room on the 2nd floor the hotel looked like it was from the 80s it was a straight dump it reeked of weed and urine! I had extreme allergies upon entering our room a micro room nothing like the pictures and had minimum amenities no microwave no sitting area no functionalities for a week long stay then the real nightmare began the shower was a death trap the shower head was completely broken and hanging off the wall, water pressure was a mist spraying everywhere and soaked you the second you put on the shower the floor became flooded every time we showered and the tiles in front of the shower were broken and moved when stepped on. None of the complimentary soap dispensers worked and the bathroom door didn't stay closed. The beds were cute but not comfortable felt like you're sleeping on a foundation rather than a mattress. The tv didn't work except for 2. Channels the weather channel amd Nasa channel which had no volume. We requested a different room several times. kitchen had waterbugs

Don't count on TV... TVs barely function, and they have maybe a couple of channels that work. They're attitude is like, what are you gonna do about it. I can accept TV and other small things, but 💩 attitude from staff not so much.
