This resort was absolutely incredible. The staff is what made our trip so incredible. Every single employee had a genuine smile on their face when doing their job, and made the atmosphere more than welcoming. They were so detailed; for example, a staff member was cooking my breakfast and remembered that the day before I had this certain salsa on it. Without even asking he made it with that certain salsa, remembering me from the morning before. Little things like that with the staff happened throughout our entire trip. They don’t short you on anything and they go more than above and beyond to make it the best experience. The place was also incredibly clean. At every point of the day I felt like I turned around and employees were cleaning something I wouldn’t have even thought would be on the cleaning list. The food was amazing and you can tell the chefs and wait staff truly care if you enjoyed the food. I can’t say enough amazing things about this resort; I would recommend anyone to go. They deserve all of their 5 star ratings…I wish I could give them an even higher rating than that!

Sanctuary Cap Cana has done a wonderful job in the training of Customer Service all throughout the property, but there are those who are just born with it. Yerry, known to us and many more as El Super Yerry, demonstrated genuine, respectful, and natural above and beyond customer service. He cared for us like family, he is as authentic as it gets. We had wonderful interactions with all other staff as well, but every trip, there is that one that just sticks out. Trios los Romanticos Cap Cana were amazing as well. Their talent is out of this world! Our family had a fantastic time. TikTok got this one right.

My husband and I stayed for 5 days. This is a very clean and well maintained place. It is definitely a great place to unwind and enjoy rest and relaxation. It is not a party type of environment. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good overall. The beach is small but nice. There is a good amount of seaweed but the staff constantly made sure to keep the sand as clean as possible. Our room was very nice as well. I possibly did not read the fine print well enough, because upon Arrival, we had to put a $300.00 hold on our credit card for incidentals. The only other thing is that even though it is an all-inclusive, there are a variety of food and wines that are offered for an additional fee. So you just have to be aware of this when ordering. Otherwise, we had a lovely vacation.

Pros: The property is overall beautiful with mostly pleasant staff members. Food: Buffet was overall good with lots of selections for breakfast and lunch. Pizza at MAMMA'S FORNO at Sanctuary Town was delightful!!!!!! Room service was great and convenient. Pools - Jose is the best at the pool. He made sure to save my best friend and I a spot each day and left us beautiful flowers on our chairs. Another great staff member is John, offering us daily activities by the pool. Both are fluent in English and very helpful and sociable. Cons: Beach - small, rocky and smelly with lots of seaweed. We did not want to go - bummer for being in the Caribbean. My best friend and I wanted to leave the resort a few times and we had issues arranging transportation (they didn't want us to leave). When we saw some of the staff walking around, they did not make eye contact or say hello and overall seemed annoyed. Came back late one night and two staff asked if we needed a ride and for our room # (creepy) Room: we stayed in room 6317 in building 2 of the property and had an issue with a mildew smell in our shower as well as lack of sufficient air conditioning. We had already unpacked all of our things and did not want to waste time on requesting a different room. There were holes in our room shades and at one point the ceiling came down in our closet exposing pipes and leaving tile residue all over the floor. They did send someone up right away to fix it but that was slightly disturbing.

This is my 3rd time going to Sanctuary and won't be my last. This resort is literally perfect. Everyone is extremely kind and helpful, food and drinks are outstanding, and the pools and views are to die for. This a very laid back/chill hotel, but don't be fooled by that, there is tons to do and you won't get bored. There are multiple activities every day at the pools, common spaces and disco. Shout out to Nathanael from the entertainment team for giving such a fun pool aerobics class. In addition, there's the "Sanctuary Town" which has a beer bar with games and a pool table, but also several themed restaurants for sushi, burgers, Spanish food, sweets and pizza. We stayed in the "Castle" side of the resort, which is the best in my opinion. Shout out to Camacho, who has to be one of the friendliest, nicest and most helpful butler of any hotel i've ever been too. Lastly, the spa is unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and book a session of Hydrotherapy and 15-min reflexology. It was just perfection. 10/10 It's just my favorite hotel in the Dominican Republic.
