Do not come to this resort. It will ruin your resort experience. It is so dirty, everything is broken and the costumer service is terrible. For it to be a 4 year old resort this place should not be 5 stars. We had cockroaches in our room and our room door wouldn’t lock and reception was so rude when we went to complaint saying we should’ve killed the roach. If they have roaches in the room could you imagine in the kitchen? Terrible experience everything is old and not taken care of.

Stayed here for my 39th birthday. The customer service and overall experience was horrible! I never experienced this type hatred in any other country I’ve traveled to. Usually, they were welcoming and eager to educate tourists on their culture, but not this place! They were cold and mean! I went with 3 of my girlfriends who were dark-skinned Haitian Americans and we were treated very poorly. I reserved two rooms, side by side. One of the rooms had the stitch of a sewer and stained bed spreads, so I kindly asked to be moved to another room. The front desk was very angry and moved me to an entire new building with no view, away fr my friends. I was so frightened to even walk to my room alone at night. They do NOT provide washcloths and when requested they still do NOT provide them. They refused to seat us at the cafe due to us having “swimsuits” on. We were ignored at the resort sports bar and had to request for a waiter several times just to take our order. The exterior of the building is beautiful but the inside of the rooms were very outdated and dirty. My friend misplaced her Invisalign and they tried to force her to pay them to get them back. At checkout, they require we bring ALL key cards back and used towels to the desk…the other guests were NOT required to do so. I’m glad I went with people I love, that still made my trip positive, because this resort was horrible! The DR airport staff was also terrible! Just bad. I won’t be returning.

Just stay away. Waste of money. Food is really horrible. They close everything super early so people have nothing to do. The alcohol is so bad. Everything was just a waste. I booked 5 rooms with swimout and couldnt even enjoy it. Could not play even the slightest music because security will watch you all night. Just nothing special Book riu. Royalto. Or Barcelo. Ive had better experiences for cheaper. This resort is just a money grab.

Loved this place! The sweet ladies at the coffee bar made my experience 100x better. Nice friendly staff, beautiful views!

Hotel was convenient in size and safe. Some servers were great and others were not. Housekeeping was hit and miss for what was asked for. Beach was full of seaweed. Constantly harassed by staff trying to sell massage and tours and member presentations.

Staff were all very welcoming. The room was exactly like the photos online. . We thought we had booked at the "adults only" side. So if you dont want kids make sure you book at Serenade All Suites. Waterslides are fun for all ages. Many options for food. You can make reservations 2 days in advance. Tappanyaki was the absolute best place to eat!!!
