Located in the Laughing Pines resort off of Walden's Creek, Piney Hop cabin is approximately 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood & Splash Country, and 20 minutes from either Townsend, Gatlinburg, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Offering paved roads all the way to the resort area this cabin would be considered motorcycle friendly. Available parking for up to 3 vehicles.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sleeps 8 is 2 levels. There are 2 steps up to reach the main level. On this level, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with an open floor plan and dining for 8, living area with a couch, 2 chairs, gas fireplace, and a TV built into the wall above the fireplace. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 king, and 1 queen, each with a 42-inch flat screen TV and a shared full bath with a walk-in shower.

In the upper level, you will find the master king bedroom with a 42-inch flat screen TV. There is a full bath with a walk-in shower, as well as a jacuzzi tub. The open loft game room features a 2-player arcade with over 15,000 titles, foosball table and a queen pull out sofa bed.

There is a large wrap around deck that offers 2 patio swings and rocking chairs, as well as the relaxing hot tub. Offering beautiful wooded views any time of the year.

If you are looking for the perfect place to gather with friends or family, minutes away from all of the area attractions, Piney Hop would be your ideal vacation haven. Pine Hop is also within walking distance of a private catch-and-release pond with no license required.

Bizarre Stay
I know many people have stated this, but the amount of beds listed is not the amount in reality. The 4th is a couch. I know it’s because of VRBO but still annoying. The property is beautiful for sure. The hot tub and fire pit are awesome. The inside was smaller than I thought, though no fault to anyone. the issues came with minor things. The ceiling in one of the bedrooms was leaking from the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen sink was clogged from the very start of our stay, the grill was so rusty it was unusable, The communication from the owner was great in the beginning for the ceiling, but was not told if anyone would come out so we assumed no one came out to ever fix it.Which was inconvenient and led us to only using the downstairs shower shared for 6 people.. It’s not that this was a bad stay, it was just super bizarre and kind of inconvenient knowing how many other solid properties there are in the area

Beautiful cabin in the woods
Beautiful cabin. Hot tub on the deck is old but works. Kitchen pots and pans are old and scraped Teflon. Overall experience was good. Loved the bonfire pit. Close to Dollywood and all the attractions.

The cabin is beautiful and clean. Its not secluded as has cabins on both sides. Location of it is nice. The 4 bedroom is the sofa in the open loft space not conducive as a bedroom if a couple was staying due to no privacy.

Jeep Invasion
We stayed during Jeep Invasion 2024. The property was convenient to the activities we participated in. The kitchen was well-stocked for a rental which made cooking at the cabin easy. It would have been nice to have a few hangers in each closet, a box of Kleenex and a light convenient to the upstairs shower. Otherwise we appreciated the conveniences. Luckily we didn’t have the fourth couple that were supposed to come as the pull-out couch would Not have been private

Great family spot
Was on a trip with 91 yr old grandmother and 5 other family members. Cabin was perfect as it had ground floor bedrooms and bathroom for those not able to climb stairs to second level. Kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils and washer/dryer available. Owners were wonderful!

Nice cabin close to activities but still in nature setting
Cabin was clean and appears recently updated. Good location as is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but still out far enough to be in a nature setting. Would stay here again.

Great Home Base for Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg
Beautiful and clean property that was perfect for a long weekend stay with friends. The space was large enough to house four adults quite comfortably as well as provide ample community space. Whether enjoying morning coffee on the wrap-around porch, curling up to watch a movie, or relaxing in the hot tub after a long day, the cabin was perfect. Located on top of a hill just outside of Pigeon Forge, we could not have had a better home base with quick and easy access to Dollywood, restaurants, hiking, and rafting. Thank you and highly recommended!

A Wonderful Time
We have zero complaints and loved the location of this cabin. Far enough away from the business of downtown, at the end of the road so no through traffic. We stayed with my wife’s family and our daughter and had a blast. Rooms were spacious for us and a baby travel crib, everything worked great, nice water pressure and a nice laundry setup for the never ending baby drool soaked clothes 😂 I would say the only suggestion would be that the guy doing lawn maintenance be there a little earlier as he was using a backpack blower at the time the baby was trying to settle into bed (830 ish). But we get it, everyone has a million things to do each day so it’s all good.

Back door left unlocked upon arrival. Dirty dishes dishes still left in dishwasher Found filthy kitchen garbage can, when we emptied it. Looks like mold around drain in shower. Had four remotes for the living room TV, made it difficult to understand.

Spring Break Getaway
We went with another family for spring break. The cabin was really nice, the property was clean and well maintained. If you want to try and get in early don't bother to ask they will not get back to you so assume you can't. I received the code to get in easily. Just for clarity there are NOT 4 bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is a loft, with a pullout which is fine and worked well for our group. The downstairs stated they had a pull out it does not. Just to be clear we enjoyed our stay, we would stay again. I just wanted others to know those details for planning purposes. The firepit was awesome and so was the fishing pond; wish we stated there longer!
