wonderful hotel
very friendly professional staff. everyone was nice and accommodating. I really loved the beach. great price for what you get. very nice views from the balcony. I stayed here 3 days and never left the hotel, except for food and we were not bored with the beach or pool.

We happen to get a room that smelled bad upon arrival. we thought maybe it was just the cleaner they used to clean the room with a little musty smell as well. By the next morning the smell kept getting worse. The carpet was wet from the air leaking. The leak ran down the wall. The hotel was all booked so 2 out of the 3 nights we spent in that room. It was a big room with a great view but it was hot (76 degrees or higher)and smelly with a mold smell. It was difficult to even get ready for super with the hot room. On the 3 day, we had to pack all our stuff up in the middle of the afternoon to go to a new room. That took us awhile amd ruined the rest of that day. When i went to the front desk, they said a manager would talk to me. The manager never did talk to me. They supposedly gave me free parking during my stay for the hastle. The pool area and the beach area were beautiful and fun for families. I just wish our room would have been better. Hopefully they get it fixed and remove the carpet.

There was alot of things in the room that needed attention when we checked in. I made a listed. They fixed most of them but was anticipating a discount for the inconvenience, none was given. And was told this room is scheduled for renovation in August or September. Thats fine but it should have been discounted for my inconvenience. If I have to take my time out to make a list and get these fixed before I can enjoy my stay

Spirit Airlines of Hotels
The hotel is great but they up charge you for everything from parking to beach chairs to umbrellas. Feels like the spirit airlines of hotels. Looks like a great sticker price until they pack on all the additional charges. Then we had a leak in our room. I had to ask for an upgrade when they made us switch rooms which felt like it should’ve just been offered instead of me having to debate the manager about the inconvenience.
