Liked location. Didn’t like pool was closed. When I originally booked said pool was open and that was after hurricane. Than they told me it was closed because of hurricane. Also a lot of noise from machines near my room. It place was clean and people were very nice

House issues from hurricane Milton and my wife , Autistic daughter and adult son needed 2 rooms for a couple of nights till power and water was replaced. I called ahead of arrival and spoke to Emily at the front desk requesting early 1 pm check in and she said both rooms would be available on arrival at 1. Front desk lady was rude and nasty when I told her we had a special need daughter and that hotel approved early check in. lady behind me stepped in and said she had been rude to her as well. The hotel person was latin and so was the other mistreated guest. She said we could have 1 room now and another later so we took key and went upstairs. after 15-20 minutes we agreed this place was not right for us. Went downstairs and asked for manager and a very nice gentleman who had handled our valet when we checked in said he was the director and I told him our story and he asked the lady at the desk to reverse charges and apologized. He was great! I tipped valet folks and we went to the renaissance hotel at the airport.

The hotel was perfect for my requirements however i especially choose the hotel to enjoy the roof top swimming pool during my stay only to discover when i checked in that it was closed for maintenance. This was not mentioned at all when i made the booking. Stewart
