Computer says No!!
Really disgusted with the hotels impersonal approach. With the current situations in many major cities, my wife, (a pwerson of colour) was too worried to visit Birmingham as planned. We spoke to the hotel, who were extremely cold, unhelpful and had no care of our situation. We requested a refund and was flatly declined. Quoting policy, with no human sense or reasonning is something that I find awful. I will not be using this chain in thecfuture

Great location, comfy bed (pillows not so much). Lovely self-service breakfast with nice staff. My only complaint was that the wall-mounted shower gel had run out (irritatingly something one only discovers when in the shower). They kindly gave me a replacement and frustratingly, the nozzle would not open. There was also a stain on the divan.
The entrance to the hotel overlooks this wharf and there are restaurants and a shopping mall on the doorstep. (The hotel entrance is by the red awnings on the photo).

Being that this was an international stay I appreciated the help we received from personnel on site. They guided me to location and the next day helped me learn the train system. I didn’t get her name but she was very helpful and spent the time to show me a valuable train app. ;)
