Was given room 630 which had no curtains and a broken light. Went to reception and got given a different room but it wasn’t clean so we had to wait for the cleaner. Not great, especially as we checked in 8pm which was a long time from the normal 3pm check in. Rooms should have been checked.

The view from our room was amazing and the room itself was a good size, with comfortable beds. Check in was nothing spectacular, although easy enough. The decor is dated and there were signs of age, a handle was missing from a drawer, crack in bathroom sink, bathroom door looked water damaged at the bottom. Not the most modern room, usb sockets would be a welcome addition they have these in caravans and hostels so not exactly extraordinary nowadays.

Really disappointing

Deeply disappointment with our stay at The Tower Hotel, which fell far short of the standards one would expect from such an iconic location. As avid runners, staying here was a long-held dream, and was to celebrate a birthday & a running challenge, making it a significant emotional & financial investment. Unfortunately, the experience was riddled with unacceptable issues that marred the occasion. Including: Reception – very slow service, and not willing or able to address concerns raised during the stay after multiple visits. Bedroom – faulty heating (an electric radiator), tired and scruffy decorations, smell of damp Bathroom – dripping tap, dirty bath, moldy tiles, This experience was truly disappointing, especially for a trip years in thought and months in the planning. Many of these are already highlighted in online reviews, with no apparent action. This lack of care directly contradicts the website’s promise of “quality and fabulous comfort.” I have sent a letter to to Hotel General Manager, Mr O’Riordan asking for a response to my concerns about this thoroughly upsetting experience. But have had no response. If you're willing to overlook a considerably lower level of service & quality, the view is indeed remarkable. However, if you're expecting the same high standard within the hotel as the view itself, as we did, then you'll be as disappointed as we were.

Beautiful views and Amazing Staff

It really is an amazingly beautiful hotel. The staff was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. You can NOT beat the view of the tower bridge. The room itself is a bit dated but feels intentional to have that kind of vibe. The draws and doors on the cabinet could use a face lift and the liners were all cracked. Also the beds are on the harder side. Loved my stayed there would definitely recommend.

I got into London after a long red-eye flight from the U.S. The front desk informed me that I could check in early if I was willing to pay the extra 100£ a night. They informed me that the room came with a view of the Tower Bridge and two waters. I was so exhausted that I paid the extra money. As soon as I got to my room, there was construction noise that lasted for hours on the floor above me. This happened every morning of my stay at 8:30am. The room was dated, the carpeting was stained, and you had no control over the heat/air conditioning. The only thing the room did have was a nice view of the Tower Bridge. However, it was not worth the extra cost. I will not be staying at the Tower Bridge again and felt completely ripped off by the staff.

Very nice hotel! The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and very helpful! However the staff at the front desk were quite timid and not super helpful if there were any questions. However, everyone has bad days so I get it! Other than that the hotel was very nice and clean.
