Great city centre hotel
Only a 1 night stopover to see a gig in Birmingham. Staff friendly and helpful, food way above expectations and room upgraded to a suite. 24 hour parking concession a bargain too!

Location Ideally located in the centre of Birmingham, perfect for the Chinese quarter or the city centre. Parking is in the main shopping centre a few minutes away. South-facing rooms will experience the noise of the nightlife. Service Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Everything was smooth. Room Not good at all. The layout meant that the TV was a pointless wall decoration as it could not be watched comfortably from the bed, and there were no comfortable chairs. The bed itself was in need of replacement/repair as one side had near collapsed. Sheets, although clean, were tired and in need of replacement. The bathroom had a panel of tioles hanging off tre side of the bath, and the sink had a gaping void of a plughole requiring me to take off jewellery before using it in fear of losing it forever. Overall Not a great stay, little sleep was achieved.

Lovely greeting from staff when we arrived and polite when we checked out . Staff at the breakfast service were polite, welcoming and helpful. Buffet breakfast was also delicious with a good choice of foods and drinks. Would stay again .
