Clean room , however disaster with the loft seemed only one works and when you did get in it took you to all floors to pick and drop off spent ten min just getting to the bottom floor yes I should have walked but had a few luggage bags … Breakfast could be slightly better was cold a lot of the food even with hot plates .

The queue far breakfast was ridiculous. I could not get near the hot food buffet. As a result left the hotel without having the breakfast I had paid for. According to a member of staff, there were 500 people expected.

Basic but great location.
Accessing the hotel you have to catch a lift to the first floor. The lift is slow and you wait in a dull cold lobby area which feels very uninviting and institutional. Once you finally get to reception the staff are efficient and helpful. Once again we had to take a lift one of the upper floors to access our room. A long wait. The room was modern, basic and clean. The bed was moderately comfortable and the pillows a bit pathetic. The shower room looked lovely and clean with a. Big shower. Water pressure was very poor however and the shower was fitted with a water saving device which made it hard to use. We had to run around in the shower to get wet. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and hot. Not a huge choice and very little for a continental breakfast. Buffet style with plenty of staff keeping it refreshed. There was a bar in the evenings but we didn’t use this and the coffee machine seemed accessible 24hours. There were 3 lifts. 1 out of order and staff used them to transport bed linen during busy times. Surely they should have a service lift. The area was quiet and close to the city centre and transport links. We have stayed here before and probably would again as it was good value.

Hotel is close to city centre but in a quiet area. Room was very clean and comfortable however a bit chilly outside at night and air con/heating did not seem very efficient. Have stayed before and would use this hotel again.

Check in was poor one member of staff and a queue of 20 people, the entrance does not have clear signage to reception, there are three lifts one did not work, my wife has a heart condition and we waited 10 minutes for a lift , the breakfast area was a disaster no assistance no knives mugs not enough facilities for the guests. Will not be back I use at least 20 hotels a year in England and all over Europe this is in the lowest 10%
