Convenient to restaurants. Walkable, with public transportation very near by. Welcoming staff. Parking was easy at the Vic Theatre. Nice room. Clean. Floors were creaky, and I was worried I could be bothering others, but I guess it was okay. I look forward to staying here again when visiting family in Chgo.

We had a great stay! The halls and rooms above were quite loud when someone walked by, but that’s to be expected with this type of older building. Honestly it just added to the charm. The beds were very comfortable and overall the room was great. Would definitely stay again.

The staff is ok. Not always the nicest when you need to ask questions. The best part of the hotel is that it is within walking distance to Wrigley Field and on the same street as Ann Sather’s.

Great hotel in the area
I was very happy to find a boutique hotel near the subway platform and walking distance to all the attractions in the area. The hotel is located in a safe Area. Well lit we were greeted each time we pass the front desk. It was nice to have a water decanter available each time we pass through the lobby. We stayed on the fourth floor. Did not hear any outside or next-door neighbor noise. The room was spacious. Several varieties of pillows On the bed from soft and fluffy to firm. The sheets were clean and did not have any odor. The bathroom was very clean. The parking is offsite and not too expensive. We felt safe walking to the car and in the garage.

This was a very last minute booking because our other booking was canceled with short notice. The room had a mildewy smell and we could hear everyone in the rooms around us. We also did not have hot water in the shower. Very disappointed. I will add that it was a great location.

Room was clean and tidy. Great location. Staff was mostly helpful except when there was a noise issue keeping us awake at 3am by another guest. The night clerk didn’t offer to call until I politely asked. He told me I could move rooms. Our room faced the train, which wasn’t ideal, but not the hotels fault for 24 service. I would just ask not to face it if you are a light sleeper.

It was a small, and simple room. There were several stains around including in the dresser drawers, and some spots on the bedsheets. Staff was kind and probably would’ve assisted if I decided to complain about the room, but I didn’t mind. Tv does not allow any HDMI plug-ins, only cable. Otherwise the area was great, parking is a bit of a hassle (common in the city). There was a lot of ruckus from neighbors (post-cubs game excitement) but nothing too late. Overall pleasant experience. Perfect for a night or weekend stay, not for picky people.

Great place to stay near Wrigleyville
Loved the retro vibe and the location in relation to where I was going and what I was doing. Plenty of food and drink options nearby and next door to a subway station.
