We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel, restaurant, and beach area were well maintained, safe, and felt like a home away from home. While small in size compared to the other resorts, it won us over by the friendliness of the staff, convenience of activities, and dining experiences. Most enjoyable was their little beach/cove area that offered a relaxing soak in the warm waters and chance snorkel close to land. While at the beach Alex C. and his co-workers took great care of us! We added the all-inclusive option to our reservation and really enjoyed the benefits. Dining options included two sit down restaurants, pool snack bars, and room service.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Always Going out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. This is a small quiet resort, which we liked, because we have 2 little kids. The food was decent. Never seemed to come out hot. And quality was lacking. But the service made up for it. The drinks were strong. There was plenty to do from snorkeling, kayaking, playing in the little waves. They have a hut with services right there on the property to book sailing, jet skis, scuba, etc… Very disappointed the pools are not heated and are VERY cold. No one was in the pools except some kids. There are also no hot tubs. The adults only pool upstairs has great views but was underwhelming. Not very clean and pool was freezing. We used the kids club for a few hours per day but there is not much structure or activities. It’s also a pretty small room and no outside area. They don’t provide water bottles or snacks for the kids which we found surprising. We used to spa, we did a couples massage. We loved this. The staff was amazing, the massage was fantastic and then a private bath with mimosas on the balcony. All in all we had a great stay, but next time would look for somewhere with heated pools, hot tubs, and a better food selection/quality.

Not really a place for someone taking a solo trip unless they just want peace and quiet. More for like someone taking a honeymoon or a couples trip. Not really a place for a group of young friends wanting to party.Not enough activities or food options.

Westin Cozumel we will be back!
We completely enjoyed our stay at the Westin Cozumel! The room was very comfortable and the view of the water from our 9th floor balcony was fabulous! The grounds and beach were lovely. We enjoyed both pools and there were plenty of lawnchairs. The service around the hotel was fantastic, everyone was happy helpful and accomodating! Shout out to Randy and Maria - such great staff! We plan to return soon.

Nice stay at the Westin Cozumel for a week for my second visit to the island. The hotel staff are very friendly and the amenities are updated and clean. I love the two pools. The oceanfront dining area is very relaxing!

Nice hotel, with its own private cove and beach with good snorkeling just off the beach. Nice pool too and the fine dining restaurant seemed good, though we only ate there once. The free breakfast option is a pretty good choice, with the restaurant for that right on the water. Nice rooms that all face the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was amazing and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. However the dinner options were limited for all inclusive we ended up eating dinner else where every night. The two Lobster houses across the street from hotel are amazing best meals we had. The pool and the beach area are great.

Best beach for snorkeling | Close to airport
I first booked 3 nights and then another 4 nights because we loved the position of the hotel. We visited a few other hotels while we were to compare and found the Westin Cozumel best suited for our needs as a couple. The beach area is perfect and the restaurant right on the waters edge offers a great buffet breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and the room was cleaned nicely everyday. Pro dive operate from here also if you into scuba diving which I am. There are also canoes to use and the house reef is great for snorkeling. Mask and snorkel is provided. Fiesta car rental are also at the hotel should you need a vehicle which I recommend if you want to cruise around the island. Check out my drone footage of the hotel on instagram @dominicsymesusa

The staff was great, especially Vicky! Rooms are nice. Areas were clean, food was good to great! Pool area needs a little masonry work but overall not bad!
