While it was ok at the best it was way overpriced on the weekends. The doors were unsafe. We had to call and have maintenance come to open and close the doors. One day arrived back and the door was wide open. No hot breakfast. No milk for the cereal 2 days. No bananas 2 days No wash clothes the first day. No housekeeping except to bring clean towels. I paid the deposit for all 4 rooms. I still have not received the deposits credited to my credit card. They credited it to the other three rooms when paying on arrival. The billing was so confusing and I am still waiting for them to reimburse my credit card. We were not told we would have to pay a $50 security deposit and it would be credited at the end of our stay. Still no credits on credit cards. People were living there. It was noisy and had to call front desk 3 times for people fighting. One room was rented out to young adults partying. No satisfied at all.

I didn’t like anything in this property,and it’s not a cheap hotel either, but everything in the room was very dirty and rusty, even the tiles in the bathroom are falling from the walls,the tv didn’t work, the paint on the walls from the little kitchenette is tearing up bad and there was no access to the beach, the property need mayor upgrades and maintenance for the amount of money they charge for the rooms, apparently the pictures that show on the website are from when the property was built years ago

absolutely nothing very displeased. the pictures on site do not match the rooms that were offered. not pleasant at all. property was unkept regardless of the Hurricanes. we had to sign a disclaimer understanding they where under renovation. and if we decided to leave their were no refunds. What kind of people does this. the only renovation i saw was a pool. and it did nothing for the actual run down facility at El Caribe Thumbs down.

Caribe Thanksgiving
Will stay again. Understanding the devastation caused by the different hurricanes, with some accommodations this property still delivers, family oriented, very clean and comfortable rooms, all rooms beach view so it won't disappoint. We stayed the day/night of Thanksgiving, there could be construction but we did not experience it.

The only thing i liked was the proximity to the beach. The pool was supposed to be heated and it was ice cold. The elevator was iffy. It isnt a total dump. It has some good qualities for the price they charge.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel, which can only be described as awful, horrible, unbelievable, and disgusting. From the moment I checked in, my experience was marred by non-stop door slamming throughout the night, which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, I was shocked to find cockroaches and other bugs in my room, raising serious concerns about the cleanliness and safety of your establishment. Moreover, I found the hotel management to be quite rude and unhelpful when I raised these issues. It is unacceptable to encounter such a lack of professionalism, especially in a hospitality setting. Furthermore, the hotel does not reflect the standards promised in your advertising, leading to feelings of being misled. Due to these numerous issues, I feel compelled to escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) as I believe your hotel is not only unacceptable but also unsafe for guests.

It is older and in need of updates and repairs but they have been hit several times by storms. The location on the beach; the staff; the 2 pools, and breakfast are all excellent . Cleanliness is average . A bit rough looking but clean bed, pool and breakfast. Free wifi and parking and prompt return of deposits. I would stay again.
