Hotels on the River in Mexico and Central America

This hotel is amazing, beautiful and very friendly and helpful staff. 5 minute walk to the main plaza square, wonderful breakfast. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I was deceived by the review videos I watched. The only great thing about this property would be how beautiful the beach is! After a long flight, arriving to the hotel they only had two people checking in all the new visitors. Once you complete the check in, there are associates behind you ready to suck you in into a buying scheme. They say it’s just to give you a map of the facility but it ends up being that PLUS wanting to sell you a room for the new hotel next door. During my stay, there was only 2 elevators working. Mind you, there’s 14 floors at the Krystal Grand. I made it aware to a handful of employees and they stated someone was coming in the next day to fix it. I was there for 4 days and never was fixed. It is not air conditioned, so it is always hot in the elevators and in the main lobby. Trying to make reservations to the 3 restaurants they have was impossible. Had to get management involved and he made sure I had reservation for one of them. The smell of sewage was unbearable when showering and in certain places in the main lobby. Once leaving, everyone who had rented a vehicle noticed there was paint splatter all over the vehicles. Employees were aware of it but didn’t act apologetic at all. They stated “ the hotel was not responsible for any damage as they allowed us to park there for free so it was not on them”. Even though, their workers were the ones painting on their hotel. I will never stay at any Krystal hotels ever again.Spend your money elsewhere!

Excellent customer service. We requested a shuttle to pick us up and return to the airport, and they immediately helped us. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and quiet. The hotel restaurant has a stunning view. There is lots of security around at all times. The concierge is very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this Hotel.
