We loved the breakfast and the room with the view. We did not like having to walk around the other hotels to get to the beach, maybe a couple hundred yards. I think for the value and price it was worth it.

Yes it's a budget hotel, you get what you pay for, however, staff very nice, decent breakfast however no half and half only lol available, room Comfortable, great location, short walk to beach. I don't understand why hotels do not use bleach on moldy tile grout, it's gross.

This hotel is a bit out dated and our room had an odd smell to it, that existed the entire trip. The lights inside the room were dim and not bright at all. Some of the hotel staff were nice, others were not. Fort Lauderdale beach is of walking distance to this hotel, which was nice. You definitely need some more of transportation if you want to travel the city. Near the beach, there are lots of little bars, pubs, and gift shops. Parking on Expedia says $20, but we paid around $22 per day, so that was inconsistent. Overall, not a bad hotel for the price you pay. Just the smell was unbearable.

No AC at the hotel, twice
The power went out one evening and I couln't sleep for 5 hours; the next day there was no apology, no explanation; then 2 days later it happened again; same thing but after 12 hours, still no AC. I checked out early, feeling dizzy from the heat, so exhausted I forgot all the clothes from the closet. What is scary is that nobody came to our floor to distribute water or check if there were senior citizens that might need assistance.

Power outage…only had generator to power main building….no a/c in rooms…had to change hotels. Scott in the breakfast restaurant was amazing…he had a great attitude and upbeat personality. He gave us some great suggestions for things to do in the area. He greeted every guest with a smile. I felt the front desk staff were not helpful or informative and should have helped guest rebook when the power outage continued thru the night and all the next day.

The manager Carolina and her staff managed a near 12 hour power outage with grace and understanding for something that wasnt their fault. The proximity to the beach was great as were the dailt breakfasts, even during the power outage

For the price. This was a very nice hotel. The staff was very nice & friendly, especially Scott, who worked in the morning, at the delicious breakfast buffet. He was sooo friendly & very accommodating. He enjoys talking to him. The hotel ran out of power 2 of the 3. Ughts we stayed there. I know it want their fault, but it was disappointing. The carpets need cleaning, outer wise it was wonderful ! We e stayed at the B & the Marriott next door in the past. They are a little nicer & more modern, but for the money, Best Western was the best!

Nos tuvimos que dejar el Hotel en mismo dia que llegamos en la noche. 10 Pm se fue la electricidad el hotel quedo oscuro completo, no habia quien estuviera ahi. Es Julio! Un verano en florida infernal sin aire. Vacaciones rotas

This is a great option if you don't want to pay resort fees. We stayed here our first night. We thought it would be just the one night to give us a chance to find a good beach hotel. It was great, just a short walk to the beach and entertainment. We ended up going on to key west and then coming back for another 2 nights. They do have different size rooms, our 5th floor balcony over the pool was much larger than our city view. And everyone was so nice. Thank you Vanessa for being so helpful
