We stayed here for a one-night stay prior to departing for a cruise. The price and location can't be beat - 1 block from public beach access, about a 20 min walk to the more developed area (it was Spring Break, so we did NOT want to be near that area), and plenty of small, independent restaurants, a bakery, pop up shops and food truck, etc. within a couple block walk. The property has "sister properties" that allow you access to their other pools (some have hot tubs) which was fun to explore a bit. The property is a bit dated and the rooms are sparsely furnished (which was fine for a short stay), but it has a cool, laid back retro feel. Small things like the sink missing the aerator (so the water shot out all over you if you turn it on full), no deadbolt on the door (but does have keycard electronic lock), and a loud air conditioner. Also note that the property is pretty spread out and on 3 levels at some locations, but no elevator. So lugging 2 large suitcases up 2 flights of stairs was a challenge. We ate at the pool bar area which made fantastic drinks and the food was good as well. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. All that said, with some minor room updates (and requesting to be on the first floor), we would definitely return for a short stay.

Beautiful location with wonderful staff. Walking distance to the beach. The bed and pillows were heavenly! Cost effecient deposit! Would definitely stay again.

Not only a decent price but great location , you can use other sister property facilities in the area, Barry one of their pools and food was so good!! Really cute property , though it may look like a motel on the outside but inside the rooms are very chic and cute , I traveled by myself so I had the smaller room but it was nice , shower is pretty big and staff was really nice! Definitely recommend!

It was a nice stay. Great bar by the pool. They offered a great happy of 3”% off food and drinks. Food was great! Bartender James also great. Rooms are clean, no frills, but also one block away from the beach. Perfect location!

I'd stay here again but not during spring break
First the good/bad: - Pros: Great location, very helpful staff, nice decor and bath products, comfortable beds, cheap/convenient parking - Cons: Bad wifi (had to go to the front desk to have them set me up on the alternate/staff wifi), odd bathroom design (e.g., not enough hooks/bars for towels), and not great storage for luggage/clothing. It could be kind of loud / noisy from outside, but we were on a ground floor unit near the pool, and it was during spring break, so there were a lot of co-eds around (and I am well beyond my college years.) The abundance of spring breakers also probably impacted the wi-fi availability. In sum, I'd stay here again but maybe not during spring break.

Room was very dirty and old. 2 windows had no blinds so had to stack pillows and blankets for privacy. Water was brown tinted so used bottled water to brush my teeth. Thankfully it was just for 1 night.

The Palms is close to a State park & historic homes & just a block or two from the beach. Our room was very minimal and needed another chair, small table or desk & reading light to make it comfortable. Staff was pleasant.

I liked the property, location was great to the beach and far enough away from the rowdy spring break section of the beach where you didn't notice it, but still close enough to walk if that's what you're after. The property is spread out and was quiet during our visit. The property is showing some wear, but it was a pleasant stay, no large concerns. Enjoyed how close so many restaurants were, and traffic on A1A wasn't bad compared to other beaches.

Friendly staff and on-site place to eat with decent food and drinks. Room was clean although it had a strong smell of moisture. Walls to get to the room could use some paint touch-ups and walkway a pressure wash. I also noticed some deferred maintenance in the bathroom. Wonderful location near the beach with pleanty of eateries. Location also seemed safe.

We stayed 4 nights 5 days at this property and the staff were welcoming, warm, and friendly. The pool area was secluded and a great spot to spend the afternoons after the beach. I would definitely recommend and stay again !
