Relax and plan what to do later as you soak up the sun on your private deck. Eagles nest is a secure gated community, parking area has 24 hr security camera, well-equipped kitchen, a furnished deck complete with a gas grill. You'll love waking up to peaceful pond and forest views. Please note there are stairs to navigate, but well worst the effort.

The perfect weekend
My wife and I drove up to the mountains to celebrate her birthday. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and very clean. The bed was comfortable, allowing us to get a good nights sleep. The property is quiet and relaxing and only a short drive to downtown Dahlonega. As a bonus there are several wineries nearby.

Eagle’s Nest
It’s a nice quit place to stay that has a gaited entrance. If you’ve read the reviews you know it’s a roller coaster ride in and there are step to the entryway so now that you’re past that it’s just as pictured in the description.

Great place to stay! We didn't have issues with the stairs. Very cozy, clean, and welcoming. Only complaint is the TV was not equipped to have access to the streaming apps or plug in a Roku. We enjoyed our time and would definitely come back.

Cabin with 30 steps up
We are in our middle 60s and we’re not told about the 30 steps up to the cabin. We barely made it up those stairs with our luggage. Also I fell down the steps down from in front of the garage. Hurt my knee and shoulder. If we had been told about the stairs beforehand we wouldn’t have rented. Overall this was the worst trip of my life. Mary Joiner

A Great Stay
The "cabin" (a cabin-style above-garage apartment) was nice. It is conveniently located and the owner was helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Do be advised that there are 30 steps up to it, plus an additional dozen or so to the parking area.

We booked John’s cabin for a wedding we were attending at Wolf Mountain and couldn’t be happier with our stay. John was great at answering any questions we had. The space was great for my husband and I. The cabin was very comfy, clean, and not far from the vineyards. We will definitely book again if we come back to the area.

Perfect for a Mom Solo-cation
Momma of three needed a break and this little cabin was perfect for myself and my dog for a quick get away. The owners were so friendly and offered help if needed. It was clean and had the essentials needed for my stay. ❤️

Labor Day weekend to visit family.
You’re truly in the North Georgia mountains when you stay here. The road in is hilly and curvy and there’s a reason it’s called The Eagle’s Nest because there’s a stairway to heaven. We loved sitting out on the deck with the leaves towering overhead. Beautiful walk to the pond, also. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous Single Room Upper Floor
Very challenging 14 steps down, then 30 steps up for septuagenarians. Very well appointedcabin with a comfortable bed in an essentially new cabin. Lower floors and garage are inaccessible. Extremely secluded without need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Paved driveway but no level surfaces on which to park to unload/load our car.

It looks like a small house/garage secluded in the trees. In fact, the room is above the garage and there’s 30 steps to get there. The garage belongs to the homeowner whose house is next door. The space was clean and well equipped. The TV and cell reception were not good, but it’s deep in the woods. Hosts were pleasant and helpful.
