Out Of Crown Royal?!?!?
We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and have always had a pleasant stay. However, during this stay the hotel had sort of a musty smell throughout the hallways, lobby and our room. It could have been just dog smells but it did not smell fresh and clean. I was also disappointing that the restaurant appeared to be closed. There was just one guy sitting at the bar. Two hours or so after we checked in, we went downstairs to the bar/restaurant, the same guy was still sitting at the bar. 10-15 minutes after we sat at the bar, the bartender came to take our drink order and we were told they were out of Crown Royal whiskey. I've been drinking Crown for almost 50 years so I was stunned that a bar had run out of one of the most popular whiskeys on the market today. I could perfectly understand they could run out of some odd, obscure liquor or beer, but out of Crown??? Crown is all I drink and I've never been in a bar that had run out of Crown. We were planning to eat at the restaurant that night but since they had no Crown, we left and had a delicious dinner at III Forks Steak House that was walking distance from the hotel. In the past, we always ate at the bar/restaurant and the dishes were reasonably priced for the outstanding food we received. BTW, there was NO ONE was eating breakfast in the restaurant the next day. We were quite disheartened about this most recent stay and will most likely seek accommodations elsewhere on our trip to Jacksonville in September.

I do not recommend. Had a 3 night stay but left immediately due to stains and bodily fluids on toliet, beds, floor and walls. Before I left, staff moved me to 3 different rooms, as a resolution, but all had large issues with cleanlines. No communication from higher management. Not going back.

One of the best in Jax!
Double beds suck for couples. Bed and bedding were okay but not super comfy. Clean. Very attractive decor. In excellent trendy area. Staff was absolutely amazing and quite frankly make the whole experience! Definitely would stay here again and overall Jacksonville doesn’t have a lot of great hotels to choose from.

I almost consider this hotel to be an all inclusive. They have a nice bar scene. They serve good breakfast. They have a fairly good luncheon dinner menu. It’s quite strategically placed near the movie theater near St. John’s Plaza. Excellent place to stay always stay at this hotel when I come in to Jacksonville for the past two years.

I would not stay at this hotel again. The people were awesome. Absolutely loved the staff. The area was quant and quiet. Our king bed however was extra** firm and good for nothing. I mean our sleep sucked. My husband had to get ice for neck and almost visit urgent care for his neck pain. My husband and I were even fighting to sit in a chase lounge or a desk chair to stay off of the bed. We were there for 5 days… A blowup mattress would have been even more comfortable. Please fix the beds!
