Clean bedding. Friendly staff . Showers were old and hard to operate. Small black bugs were in the bathroom. More black bugs that I believe were baby roaches were on the desk area in the room. Breakfast was minimal and inconvenient to make in a small area. Guests had to wait on each other to get out of the way to get food.Very cramped.

We were there to escape the hurricane. People were nice, the person who cleaned our room was super nice as was the night time clerk. I spoke with the manager about a bad smell in the room which I saw him write my room number down but nothing was done about it. When I checked out and he asked about the stay, I said something about the smell not being addressed and he had a look of surprise on his face. I understand it was busy but really??

I was surprised how small the rooms were. They werenā€™t as clean as I was hoping. We stayed here specifically because of Hurricane Milton Evacuation. We left a day early and they have a reservation change 24 hour policy that didnā€™t apply with hurricanes. So although we evacuated and safely were trying to get back to our home to assess damage, they didnā€™t make exceptions for Hurricane evacuees. Very discouraging. We will not be coming back to this hotel for another hurricane.

The tub surround had mold on it. The carpet was filthy dirty. There was a womenā€™s dirty under wear left in our room. Shower head leaked. Needs to be updated extremely bad! I told the manager and he apologized.
