Next to St Pancras. Room was brighter and more modern than many similar that I've stayed in nearby. It is small. Like many similar hotels the TV is a bit hit and miss with channels. WiFi was ok. But it was for a night before a Eurostar so I'd happily stay again.

You may love the convenience of being close to Kings Cross station, but you won't be able to close your window due to no control over the temperature in the room. We were unable to sleep for the three nights we were there. The rooms were clean as were the shared bathroom and shower. There are no lifts (elevators) so be prepared to carry your things up (for us) three floors. Our biggest complaint really was the noise. Every night, all night, sirens and street noise.

Really good, affordable small hotel situated very conveniently in central London, close to King's Cross, St Pancras and Euston stations. Spotlessly clean, friendly and efficient staff, recently decorated and ideal for a short stay in the middle of London. Rooms are small but not ridiculously so, with good beds - also quiet, considering the central location. Recommended - I will definitely choose Alhambra again when staying in London.

No elevator and the stairs are really steep and narrow so if you have lots of baggage like we did, perhaps request a ground floor room. Cost us another £30 but did get a private en-suite with that.. rooms are very small although the advert is upfront with that..

Very small room but had everything we needed. Walls very thin and noise above us. We could hear a low rumble from the Tube. Great location to take the Tube anywhere because it’s half a block from St Pancras and Kings Cross stations. Room serviced every other day which was fine. No elevator and narrow stairs.

We stayed here because of the reviews and the proximity to the Underground and trains. However the room was quite small (just enough for 2 twin beds) and my wife found hairs in the bed. If you're lugging large suitcases, the hallways are quite narrow. The staff were friendly.

Great location for short stay
Hotel is conveniently located across from St Pancras station, just a 2min walk. We were put into a room in the basement with window facing the street. It was a bit inconvenient to carry our large luggage up and down the stairs. Room was clean and tidy with kettle, small closet, and bathroom is reasonably sized. It got noisy quite early on as we were so close to the station, but for just one night stay before we left London, it was very convenient. Check out time is a bit early at 11am but we were able to leave the luggage and pick up later which was very helpful.

Location is good. However, I was unaware I had to go up 3 -4 flights of stairs with my international luggage. Staff provided little to no assistance. The shared bathrooms were not maintained clean. Bed was relatively comfortable in the super small rooms.

So expensive for what you get. From the tiny rooms to the low water pressure, to the ridiculous pillows and tiny uncomfortable bed, there is no justification for the they’re charging. Also, they charge an arm and a leg for water, which makes this place feel like they are nickel and diming you every step of the way. There is no elevator, so you have to truck your luggage up a tiny hallway staircase and the paper thin walls mean you can hear every move your neighbors make. No AC or airflow, so you have to keep your window open and the city noise outside makes sleep impossible. Don’t stay here.
