Its close to the airport. The shuttle runs regularly but is a little expensive. If you walk outside and catch the U3 bus it will take you to airport for a fraction of the price they charge.

Pros: Proximity to the airport. Was able to commute using the local bus,room was specious which is a change in London where unless to go you are willing to spend a fortune you are left with smaller rooms. Cons: fact that they don't accept cash payments was the biggest one. Forces you to use your credit card which for someone not residing in Europe like me come with huge fees from my bank. Hotel could overall use a bit of upgrades. Carpet.

The proximity of the hotel to the airport is advantageous, however, the hotel's appearance is outdated. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant odor of cigarettes and there were noticeable stains on the carpet.

The hotel was conveniently close to the airport. The front desk staff was very helpful in getting us a car to take us there. The food at dinner was delicious and the service excellent.

The food was superb and the bar staff were really knowledgable and friendly. That’s the good bit. The bad bit is trying to find the entrance to the hotel. I have never visited a hotel where the entrance/reception is at the back - especially one that spans around 300 m of road space. If you are arriving by public transport and get off the bus where advised, the signs indicate that the entrance is down the road and to the right. So you end up walking the length of the road only to realise that the signs lead nowhere. I am mobility impaired and also had two elderly relatives with me and we ended up asking a worker at the end of the hotel where to go. He admitted it is incredibly confusing and suggested we carry our luggage down some concrete steps and walk around the car park. We then found what is almost a hidden entrance. It seems they only consider travellers who arrive by car or the ‘Hotel Hoppa’ bus. Ridiculous set up - why could they not have designed another entrance on the main road which would lead people into the exact same area? I was exhausted already but this made me furious. I was not a happy bunny by the time I got to reception. They gave us an upgraded room but to be honest I’d have preferred a free breakfast. Which, incidentally, was delicious, just like our dinner. The problem with airport hotels is that you are ‘captured’ - there’s never anywhere nearby to eat other than onsite. In this case, we struck lucky - food was amazing.

The staff was very nice and helpful! Allowed us to check in a bit early which was wonderful since we had just arrived in London from an overnight flight from the US. The room was comfortable and very quiet, considering it is an airport hotel. The restaurant and bar area was very convenient and the food was good.
