Location excellent
Self check in, despite having done it online, a little annoying. No contact with staff, no reception area to speak of. Rooms aren’t just small, they are tiny. Lighting options are poor. Centrally controlled Aircon blows onto the bed and resets to cold in the morning. On plus side, fabulous location, quiet rooms, bed comfortable. Good blackout curtains. Very clean, apart from marks on wall, to be expected, when the room is so small and nowhere to place luggage, or anything else.

The bedsheets had hair and blood stains, carpet was dirty and very small room despite upgrading it to a suite. Had a nice city view but the stay was uncomfortable and hotel in general was not clean to standard.

Great and convenient location which is the only reason I would stay in this hotel as it has no amenities, but only one bed and one nightstand. There is nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, no toiletries, no TV no chair or desk it is extremely basic and dark.

I booked a non refundable and accidentally clicked the wrong dates. I requested a change. It was difficult for expedia and I to reach anyone from the hotel. The hotel staff provided the wrong email for the manager to the expedia rep. After numerous attempts to contact the hotel directly. I discovered they were sold out after almost two weeks of trying to reach the correct person. Any reputable hotel would have honored switching the dates or using their other property which had dates available. I lost money but gained peace of mind after reading about the issues guest have experienced at this property. Do your research read the reviews from other sites.

Disappointing Stay
I booked a two-night stay at the hotel, but my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was informed that I would need to change rooms after the first night due to scheduled maintenance. When I requested a different room, the hotel offered to move me to their sister property a few minutes away. However, upon arriving there, I was told that the hotel was fully booked, and I had to return to the original hotel. After all this back-and-forth, I was eventually given a room that was clearly designed for guests with disabilities, which made it quite uncomfortable for me. The sink and shower were very low, and the toilet had a bar awkwardly placed beside it. Despite the inconvenience and disruption, no compensation was offered, nor was it even mentioned. Very disappointing overall.

This is only a review on customer service and communication as we didn’t stay at the hotel. Around a week before our stay my partner was taken into hospital, I emailed the hotel on multiple occasions to see if there was any chance of changing the dates or a possible refund but had no response. I contacted Expedia who informed me that they had also tried to contact the hotel without response. However when I first booked the hotel I had enquired about leaving our hand luggage early so we could explore the area without having to carry them, they were very quick to respond and say that we could for a fee of £15 per bag. They eventually got back to me 3 days after we was due to stay. I know that this was a no-refund booking however some communication before we was due to stay would have helped. I would have given the reservation to a family member or friend to have enjoyed rather than throwing the money away. Again this is not a review on the hotel facilities just on the customer service.
