It's an old building which has history and a quirkiness to it. Clean, comfortable with great pug the Jugged Hare which serves good beer and excellent food. Convenient location.

Nice setting, < 3* hotel.
Very old and tired and in dire need of an upgrade. The first room had a broken shower and temperamental AirCon/Heating, 2nd the room had no AirCon at all.

Staff were truly excellent. My major issue was the nighttime noise in the courtyard on our first night. However we were given a different room for the next few days and an upgrade with no fuss.

This was by far the most luxurious hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff’s politeness and professionalism stood out—they were incredibly kind and courteous. I especially appreciated the friendliness of Raissa and Enzo, who were exceptionally polite, supportive, and truly made a difference during my trip. The room was extremely comfortable, with large, cozy beds that made for a perfect stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and impeccably organized. One detail that I really appreciated was the availability of a non-UK power outlet in the room, which was incredibly helpful since I didn’t have an adapter with me. Overall, an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations!

Good option as it's located not far from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations and is surrounded by good cafes and shops. The room was nice and the bed was comfy too, the staff are extremely helpful

Nothing compared to the original across from it. The quality of the building, flooring and rooms is so different. I am sorry but i did not enjoy my night there. I will oot be booking the Townhouse again.
