Stayed whilst I was running an event in Westminster. Easy walk from Pimlico tube station and room was warm and comfortable. Shower was nice and powerful and staff were friendly and welcoming.

Disliked: Room comfort
Ok but cold room
Room was icy cold when I arrived. There was an electronic radiator, but I wasn't turned on. It took a lot of time to get the room to such temperature that I could take a shower. Room was quite dated, but clean. Matress hurt my hip and the blanket was oddly narrow, so it was hard to get under the blanket and fully covered to get a good night sleep in the cold room.
Hotel doesn't have a luggage storage.
Slept very well, warm room with very comfy bed. Owner was excellent and very friendly, I would stay here again if I revisited the area :)

Lovely friendly people and homely environment. Cold downstairs family room but remedied with free standing heaters. Good location for central London. Noisy phone ringing from 5am and could hear rumbling of train, so needed earplugs. As a last minute booking though was 'good enough'. Allowed for me to have a bit of flexibility with my checkout time.
Booked a Super Economy room and hotel wrote to me IN ADVANCE to explain the small nature of the room including the size of the bed etc to ensure i was aware and not surprised on arrival. Warm welcome at reception where again fully explained. Romm small but perfectly comfortable and clean. good value

I didnt like that the bathroom was down the hallway and not in our room. We were not informed of that until we got to the room. The heaters didnt work and the room was very cold. The employee brought in a portable heater for us to use. The room was not worth the price we paid.
Stayed here as its close to the US embassy and it was so convenient. The hotel is in a busy part of London so prices elsewhere can be quite pricey but prices at Blade are reasonable for the no frills accomodation- clean, super friendly staff and well maintained tooms. Its a few minutes walk from the Pimlo tube station and at least 15 -20 minute walk to Nine Elms. Highly recommend.
Great stay for a few nights. Rooms are small, and there is no lift, if you need one. But staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is free parking on the street on weekends and over night if you can find a spot. We got lucky! Close to tube.
Overall, good as friendly reception and not first stay, which is why I picked it.

Loved the location , with dining and a wine bar close by . Walking distance to train station . Accommodation was safe and secure , clean . The staff member was great and communicated with all the way . Down side of apartment, top floor was like climbing Mount Everest and pillars rock hard .
Hotel was in a great location. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. The only negative thing I can saw was that the shower pressure was pretty pathetic, but this wasn't a major issue for me.
Whilst the property feels a little 'tired', it's clean and 'does what it says on the tin'. We enjoyed our stay and the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Great value for what we wanted..... a one night stay in London not too far from the Royal Albert Hall.
[By the way, whilst the booking was in my wife's name, Sara, it was me who stayed there.... SIMON]
