Hidden, convenient gem
I love this hotel. It is conveniently located halfway between Paddington and Bayswater stations (a 10-minute walk to either) on a quiet street. The rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable. Like most European hotel rooms, the room is on the small side, but that is to be expected. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice no frills hotel
The room was a little smaller then what I'm accustomed to or expected but it worked for the few days we were there. There is terrace but it's locked. The staff was amazing, so nice and professional. I loved how close the hotel is to the various tube stations.

Superb experience!
Superb hotel experience. I had a lovely quiet refurbished room overlooking the park; bright, immaculate and with a welcoming selection of room refreshments for me. Air conditioning was super and much appreciated during these hot days, as was the mini fridge. Decor and design in the room and throughout the hotel creates a very peaceful ambiance, which was perfect for me and just as I hoped it would be. Waking up to the sun shining down and glistening through the trees was wonderful. Rainfall shower was also excellent! And location also could not have been any better; a few minutes to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Wonderful! Checkin and checkout service were fantastic and I was very intrigued to hear of the hotel history. A truly delightful experience and I wish I had found you sooner. I very much look forward to a longer stay with you in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

The room is cozy and clean. The area is quiet and peaceful, and it is only a short walk to the Paddington station. I would stay here again if I visited London again.

Mixed bag, but ultimately fine.
Concerned that there was building work going on and outside of my window was scaffolding, a shipping container and a cement mixer. I did raise this concern with front desk who had no solution they could offer and didn’t know if I woukd be disturbed or not, so that was a concern. I then went out for the evening. When I got back, they were able to offer a solution, but it was late and I didn’t want to do anything but sleep. As it was, there was no noise in the morning, so I would like to thank the staff for offering a solution, would have been nice to have had that earlier, but a solution none the less. Also, worth noting that there bathroom doesn’t have complete privacy, in so much as it doesn’t have a door. They should make the open plan element more obvious.
