The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Stratford Station (Google maps took us via a back street route - best to exit via the Town Centre exit signs and follow the route past the bus stands and along the main road to the hotel). The room was clean and well presented but the minimalist design had, in our opinion, gone too far, in that there was only two small shelves and a short rail with 6 hangers to keep clothes. There were no drawers in the room. Not ideal for our 3 night stay, but we managed. Breakfast was nice and of good quality. The automated pancake machine was in full swing on our visit and was a popular feature. All the staff we met, inc housekeeping, breakfast and reception were friendly and hardworking. We would definitely stay again.

Staff are lovely and helpful, they’re very lenient and willing to help you out a lot. The stay overall was great, place was clean and just felt like home. The one downside, which really took away the final star is the fact that the smoke detector in the room flashes a yellow light every 10 seconds or so, and as you can imagine trying to sleep with a large flash of light is not the best. The TV should also be able to have the option for us to connect to our devices or atleast add Netflix or other streaming platforms so we can actually make use of it

Really nice room. However, plug point only provided on one side of bed. Was a pain having to charge my phone on other side of room. Corridors were very cold. Staff were friendly and breakfast was very good.

Holiday Inn Express is strategically located at the high street of Stratford, just a walking distance to the train station and Westfield. Always a value for money to stay in every time we go to London with rates include breakfast already. Staff are accommodating, friendly and responsive. Food is also brilliant!

Usual standards from HI Express, welcoming staff, decent breakfast apart from .... don't put the lid on the warmers for hash browns, it makes them soggy. Great location for ABBA stadium, 10 min walk.

The male receptionist who checked us in yesterday (we arrived around 5) and who then took our order for dinner later on was really impressive, so professional and friendly - I didn't catch his name but he should definitely be commended. All of the waiting staff were also very good. We picked the hotel purely for its location but were very pleased indeed with the hotel experience overall having not stayed at a Holiday Inn Express for many years. Thank you.
