It is a hostel not a hotel. Ultra small room without space for anything else than a bed. No desk no nothing.

Had a triple room for my daughter and granddaughter perfect all we needed and short walk to the Apollo theatre to see Wicked. Owner was really friendly and helpful and gave us all the information we needed to eat and directions to walk to theatre. Clean room,quiet, tea and coffee. Everything we wanted. Would stay again.

Absolutely, the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in. Really approachable accommodating staff. Very comfortable. Has everything you need for a short term stay. Great location- 10 minute walk from Victoria Coach Station

The owner/manager was very helpful. He gave us instructions on how to get to the King’s Cross train station and made it easy for us. We didn’t have to pay a taxi to get there.

We had an excellent stay at the Melbourne, my son and I. We had a nice view of Parliament and the Eye from our window. The bedding was comfortable and clean, as were the shower and toilet facilities. I don’t like to pay a great deal for lodging because I think that it should just a place to clean up and sleep; therefore, I’m a bit conservative in how much I want to spend. As I told the very friendly and helpful house owner, the Melbourne House is a good deal for people who are careful with their travel budgets.

We loved staying here. It is a very friendly family run hotel. Staff were very helpful as we didn’t know the area. Our room was a nice size. They kept our luggage before our check in time and after we checked out. The room is a bit older but still very clean.

Bel hôtel, bien situé, mais pas d'ascenseur
Très bel hôtel, propriétaires vraiment bien accueillant. Chambre bien située pour les différentes excursions que nous avions déjà réservées. Seul bémol pas d'ascenseur et cela n'était pas indiqué, nous étions au 3ème étage (6 paliers 66 marches) pour monter nos valises et tous les jours à notre retour.
