Decent cheap accommodation
The stay was for 6 nights. Quiet area close to transit, restaurants and pubs. Typical Paddington area accommodation in this price range. Very small rooms, decent breakfast and very friendly staff. If you like to lounge around your room then this isn't for you. If you want a decent and clean little room for a great price that you use at the end of the day to sleep....book it.

Those hotel so run down. Carpets everything is old and shabby. The evening staff wonderful. There seems to be one mai. Person in charge. Sheā€™s very abrasive def would not recommend this hotel. Rare that I have this kind of experience.

Good choice. The only problem was a heating issue that was quickly fixed. Room was small, as in most British hotels, but very clean and comfortable. Very good English breakfast every morning.

The hotel was convenient near Paddington Station. The only disappointments were that you can't bring food to your room and mice were present. I guess that is why you can't bring in food.

Very Enjoyable Stay
We used this hotel as it was close to Paddington Station - it is about 5 minutes walk. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly efficient staff. Everytime we left and returned whoever was on reception was very pleasant. A late night problem with noisy neighbours was sorted out quickly with no fuss. The room was quite small but totally adequate for our needs. It was very clean, the housekeeping team do a fine job. This is an old building which doesn't have some of the features found in more modern establishments but we felt it lacked nothing. The breakfast served was good and, again, the staff were very pleasant and efficient. This has to be our hotel of choice for future visits to London.

A Sorry Stay
The bed linens were really poor-like the ones youā€™d find in a motel 6. The sheets werenā€™t even large enough for the double bed-they kept sliding off. No facial tissues offered or available. I asked and they said no and offered me a napkin. You have to use toilet paper for that. The heat is turned off between 10 and 4 pm every day, so if youā€™re in your room during the cold months you are cold! The breakfast was good. Servers were great.

Home from home
Really home from home stay. Its not flashy and not pretentious. Comfortable toom and staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble. Its location is ideal. 5 min walk from Hyde Park and another 20 min walk to knightsbrige for the shops, then easy walk up to westminstervand the palace. Paddington station is literaly around the corner if you dont fancy the walk and its on the central line (yellow) and 10 min tube ride to Victoria
