one of my favourite hotels at heathrow
very friendly staff. with fantastic breakfast. Slept very well Rooms could do with a bit of an update and put USB sockets by the bed. had a airport view and the noise of the aircraft was louder than expected.

On arrival I was given the wrong room but still charged the higher room rate for the room I had booked. It was resolved fairly quickly. Reception staff were generally pleasant and helpful. The re-stocking of the room each day varied and necessitated a hunt for housekeeping staff (to get coffee, flannels, body lotion....) The rooms were very clean though. The executive lounge happy hour food has been stepped down to a couple of items on a plate. It was nicer having a self-service area for bread and cheese and so forth. I don't eat in the bar / restaurant as from past experience the food wasn't great. I did book breakfast for one day this year and that was great. A big improvement on food quality from last year. Other than that, a good stay. I was there for a conference, but I would be happy staying there the night before or after a flight.

I was told at check-in that I am a guest of honour for the day. However as I have checked late at 10 pm I have already lost out on the ‘happy hour’. I was told that I am entitled to breakfast for the above reason. But the fact was that I have already paid for breakfast at booking. Then I was told that I have been upgraded to a room with view. But again the fact was I have already booked a room with a view. Hence I really did not understand what facilities I received for being a guest of honour. The room as well the bathroom was quite small. I wonder what the less expensive rooms are like!

Great hotel with warm beds
The hotel was very clean and the service was friendly. The breakfast was not worth the price. Of the nine days, I only ate it three days I was there. I do wish there was an actual sheet to sleep under instead of a thick comforter. The room was not cool enough for that thick of a cover.

Very convenient location for overnight stay before and after using Heathrow airport. Fantastic, easy onsite parking for the entire holiday with easy Hoppa shuttle to Terminal 3. Very comfortable and big bed. Quiet air con. Lovely modern facilities. Not so keen on the shower gel / shampoo range as they contain nuts, but brought my own. Restaurant is very expensive but high quality. No obvious guest waste recycling and why aren’t TV remotes cleaned anywhere anymore?! All minor niggles.
