This is truly a case of you get what you pay for. This is a cheaper “hotel” in a great area that’s near everything and shares a wall with a station, so if you’re spending 5%of your time or less in your room this is the place for you.
It looked like it was stuck in the 1980s, which wouldn’t be an issue except it felt like the last time it was cleaned was the 1980s. This is not your traditional hotel and more of an air bnb situation with the hotel owners only interacting with you is to give you the key.
Every hard surface had clearly not been wiped down in some time, and the quality of toilet paper, towels, etc left room for improvement. There is also a hostel on the first floor which made the hotel price seem high considering the only different is a in unit private bathroom that cannot fit more than one person at a time. There is no AC as well and the rooms get hot quickly from the shower so be prepared to keep windows open. Appliances were run down and poor quality.
Overall, this truly is a case of you get what you pay for. If you want a traditional hotel and can spend $200+ a night then this is the place for you, otherwise look elsewhere.
P.S. we saw previous reviews regarding bed bugs, we scoured the mattresses when we arrived and didn’t see any/this was not an issue for us.
