The room itself was great except the pillows had no support Extensive renovations where underway right up to 6pm Saturday and early Sunday morning again There were big skips outside room and bags of cement piled up on walkway Overall noisy dusty and not relaxing at all

I understand there are renovations but it could have been done a whole lot better. Reception was stuffed into a little room. There were bags of dirty linen left lying around everywhere for people to trip on. The parking was very tight and limited. The first room was not cleaned properly, dust and mould on everything, bed not made correctly, crockery misplaced. Cobwebs handing from ceiling. We were moved into a newly renovated room. We had one knife, no plates, heaps of glasses. The tiny fridge had no ice compartment. No microwave, a toaster but no crockery or cutlery. Parts of the room were dusty. We did get a service everyday, that was nice.

Staff were great as usual but the building/rooms aren’t what they used to be. Unfortunately the Buckingham is looking run down. Very noisy with tvs going all night and people smoking and talking outside til all hours.

We are seniors and difficult to go upstairs with the luggage, the staff was nice enough to upgrade our room to ground floor.

World’s smallest rooms unless you were in Japan where you’d expect the rooms to be small AF. Free WiFi is only a bonus if the WiFi works. Most of the premises is undergoing renovation which is much needed. Wouldn’t recommend

Awesome!
It was a newly renovated room, they are still renovating the outside. Can park car and easy to call uber or head to Highett station. Clean and nice! The aircon is a new Mitsubishi with cold and warm functions. Lovely hotel!

Upgrade is taking place, room could do with anew paint job. Air conditioner noisy on roof directly above room. Restaurant was excellent, one of the best meals I have had

Rooms had recently been renovated and were clean and comfortable. I stayed in a room towards the back of the property and it was nice and quiet. Easy walk to Woolies and cafes/restaurants around the corner. Worth the money.

Could walk to local shop which was best option as due to construction parking was not easy room very clean today good staff

The property was easy to get to. The breakfast was decent. I would have hoped that the laundry facilities did not have an open and close time. This made it difficult to wash clothes within the allowed “open” time. Preferable to make the laundry open 24 hrs.

The property is undergoing renovations, it is a cute charming hotel, clean with a very nice French restaurant. We enjoyed our stay
