The Beautiful Hotel Melby

Loved the hotel Melby in Melbourne! Only thing if any that could use improvement was water pressure to shower. Otherwise, it’s awesome and I will be going back. They have a beautiful rooftop restaurant lounge area with spectacular view and the BEST coffee in town! My mom lives in Melbourne I love the town and Hotel Melby will be where I book my stay when I visit her.

The property is in the middle of the downtown area, and you can walk to stores, bars, and restaurants. The property is clean and quiet with a great rooftop bar and coffee and snacks in the lobby. The room was large and comfortable. We will stay there again.

Not much to say in likes Rooms are very plan and our room still had bare concrete on the ceilings and column on the wall the TV didn’t work and there was no power in half the room had breakfast and it was cold.the shower pressure was horrible and when I presented the TV and power issues to front desk they thanked me for pointing those things out kinda sad being that this hotel is fairly new I’m a honors member and will not stay here again in the future and it also makes me want to look at other brands prior to booking with Hilton again

Sierra at the service desk started out by telling me I didn’t book right online and would only give me one breakfast voucher. She could have just gave me two and made a great customer service experience. Instead she said I only booked for one adult and I would have to pay for my husband at breakfast. I must have missed that on hotels .com. The beds were hard at this hotel and the pillows were flat. My neck hurt in the morning. The roof top bar was great and so were the valet people and our room was clean.

Holiday visit to see family

Check in was fine, a little bit of a wait as it was just after 4pm. Room good, bed fairly comfortable. Table lamp by phone didn't work. Was awakened at 8am by what sounded like someone dropping balls on the floor repeatedly. Not sure if it was from a guest room or the fitness center.
