Luxury escape for you and your dog

One of the cutest accommodation options in Olinda, Leddicott Cottage is available for you and your much-loved dog to enjoy a luxury holiday together. Featuring zero contact check-in and keyless entry, Leddicott Cottage offers you a private retreat away from everything in its own 1.5 acre historic garden setting.

Having closed for 2 months during April and May, when we re-open, our policy is to have an extended period between guests to thoroughly clean and disinfect the cottage for our safety and yours.

Couples can laze away the time enjoying the woodland gardens with currawong bird calls, established rhododendrons, beech, oak and silver birch trees. Along with crisp clean mountain air, Autumn provides a carpet of red, orange and yellow leaves perfect for a game of fetch and a photo shoot for memories that will last forever.

During winter Leddicott’s cosy layout, woodfired pot belly and clawfoot bath provide the perfect setting to snuggle down and enjoy each other’s company. A fully equipped kitchen where you can cook for your loved one, allows you to self-cater and means if you choose you never have to leave. If you want dinner out in one of the hills or nearby Yarra Valley’s amazing restaurants, your dog will be comfortable and safe at Leddicott until your return.

Cosy and dog friendly.
Very comfortable and warm stay. We loved the fire, didn’t take long to warm up. Close to the cafes and shops. Our Westie enjoyed her walks around the property and in town, always on a leash of course. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Little Getaway
Perfect mini break property for this couple and the furkid. Very clean and stylish, and located in a lovely quiet street with stunning gardens all around. The owners were great to deal with and the yummy treats they left for us and the dog to enjoy were very thoughtful.

Our stay was so beautiful. We loved everything about it. Especially the fireplace, the bath, the endless garden surrounded by the forest. So many special touches. The books were very much appreciated. The bottle of Muscat was perfect after a long soak in the bath with the bath bomb. There were elegant bath robes, an excellent coffee machine with an assortment of coffee and hot chocolate pods, and Tim tams ♥️ The bed was super comfortable, as were the leather chairs in front of the fire. A truly enjoyable stay.

A perfect stay!
We can't recommend Leddictt Cottage enough. Not only was the property and it's ground absolutely magical but all it was perfect for our fur babies. The details in the house, from all the amenities that made it feel like home to the all the thought put into making sure our dogs had the best stay made the whole experience so special to us. It was a perfect family get away. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful place to stay in the hills! This little cottage is a delight with a beautiful kitchen, fabulous bathroom and a cosy fire. We escaped renovations at our home for the weekend and couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more! We had our puppy, Gigi, with us. She was thoughtfully included in our stay with a personalised letter and treats left by the owners dogs. They had a doggie ramp for the furniture, a retractable leaf, towels for the dog and bowels if you needed them. They also had a small fenced area outside for your pup. The location was perfect, we walked to breakfast on the morning and walked to iga when we needed groceries. Must stop at emerald bakery.. their store is jaw dropping!! Thank you so much for our stay! We will be back!!

Romantic cottage getaway
Amazingly appointed five star mountain cabin cottage where the balcony overlooks the beautiful gardens filled with tall trees and birds. Perfect for a long weekend getaway- everything you need, nothing that you don’t - Great lovers retreat !!! Cottage filled with little luxuries such as heated bathroom tile floor (OMFG 👍👍👍), bath bomb, bottle of Muscat & exotic leaf teas. Couches were super comfy to get cozy in with a lovely cuppa tea, great company and one of the many good books provided. Kitchenette equipped for making a hearty B’fast before enjoying a day of walking in the surrounding dog friendly hills. Guided walk sheet/ map provided. Location is fabulous: just a short walk to Olinda for coffee & cake, pizza & salad or a meander in the quaint shops. Personalised letter to our dog was very sweet and included instructions for all the dog pampering options, including dog treats, dog bath, bowl and blanket. Such a memorable weekend. We’ll be back!

Cosy cottage with beautiful garden
We had a wonderful stay. Very dog friendly - our little Jack Russell was spoiled with treats left for her by the host. We loved sitting on the back deck looking out over the huge garden. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to shops, cafes and walking trails. Fantastic hosts. Will definitely be back!!

Beautiful little cottage
My new husband and I stayed here straight after our wedding and it was so perfect!! It’s a gorgeous tiny little cottage with everything we could have asked for. The fireplace was lovely on a couple of cold wintery nights, the bed was incredibly comfy and warm and the bathroom was modern and spacious. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to others.

Very welcoming, clean and well finished.
Great property in a good location. Hosts are welcoming and the personal touches where the best I have seen. Have not seen a pet friendly property so clean and at the same time so accommodating of our furry kids. Can't recommend enough. Will be back.
