I booked here to stay on the 29th of Nov for my partner, my son and I to stay after attending medical appointments as we live out of town. When we arrived, there was nobody at the reception and the signs posted on the doors were very confusing. The hotel lobby was stifling and stuffy, as was upstairs in the hall. The room didn’t seem bad at first, but upon closer inspection, we realised the couched didn’t fold out and there was nowhere for my son to sleep except with us - and it was dirty. There was rubbish poking out from under the fridge, there was handprints on the bathroom mirror, long hairs stuck to the bathroom wall, bugs on the carpet and toenail clippings beside the bed. We didn’t stay, we went home early, none of us could sleep knowing the room hadn’t been properly cleaned and we weren’t game enough to use the sheets. Utterly sickening.

I stayed @ the Kew Melbourne Apartments 4 a week during a period selling my family home. It is in the same bldg as the Beaumont Hotel, Kew. My room had a couch, table/chairs & queen bed. It was clean & quiet. Isai was very helpful, friendly & efficient. The rate was slightly cheaper than the Beaumont.

It’s a great place to stay very responsible prices I would suggest replenishing some of the crockery and cutlery as there was only one large plate and bowl and there was 2 of us

I stayed at Kew Central Apartments for 1 night during the week. The room presented dirty, not well maintained and smelled awful. The walls were very thin, and unfortunately my neighbour was listening to music loudly to early hours of the morning, so a good rest wasnt on the cards. Check in was relatively seemless, once i recieved instructions a few hours after booking.

The customer service representative I interacted with was very confrontational and did not display a friendly demeanor. From the start of the conversation, I did not feel welcome or valued as a customer. Lack of Friendliness: There was a noticeable lack of friendliness in the interaction, which is essential in creating a welcoming environment for customers. Overall Unwelcoming Atmosphere: The combination of a confrontational attitude and lack of friendliness contributed to an overall unwelcoming atmosphere during the customer service interaction.

The rooms are smelly and never vacummed, showers dont have extractor fans and kitchen does not have working rangehood. Reception is never attended and phone calls are not answered as if they are avoiding contact with the guests. Dont stay here if you can avoid.

Cleanliness is shocking, staff needs to chill
Convenient location, well priced and overall the facilities are relatively new, not as bad as some of the horrifying reviews on Google Maps. However, during my stay the cleanliness was shocking, obviously someone has been slack or not getting paid enough to care. Had spider web hanging in my room, and the dust on bed head was quite thick. Half roll of toilet paper left when I checked in. Arrived 30 minutes late and the after hour check in lady needs to chill, made me standing at the car park for 45 minutes before she handed me the keys.

Booked 3 weeks in advance for 4 days for 3 people. Confirmation email received a day before we flew into melbourne reflected the booking for 3 people. When we arrived the very rude manager told us the room only accomodated 2 people but we had paid for 3 people. She was the rudest manager ive ever met and she refused a refund and hung up on us when we called. She shouldnt work as a manager, she is ruining the reputation of the business. Started legal proceedings to recover our refund. Avoid this place. Not worth the effort.
