Definitely would stay here again, great for the solo traveller, but also would be great for the business traveller or couples. Room was clean and spacious. Very handy to dining on Lygon Street. Close to Royal Exhibition Centre and Melbourne Museum. Also walking distance to centre of the city. Only downside was the lack of parking if you have your own car with you.

Nice stay
It’s a nice place and I enjoyed it, but the rooms are very dark. They don’t really have windows opening up to the street. The mini bar was quite expensive and no free water in the room. The breakfast was nice; it’s a la carte and you pay separately. The area was ok, but it was a good 15-20 mins walk from anywhere more central.

We were impressed and grateful for the reception received at Zagame’s House. Arriving early at the hotel after an early flight we were in our room by 9:30am which is unheard of. We had expected to leave our luggage in storage until much later in the day but the receptionist made every effort to get us our room quickly after our arrival. We really appreciated this. The rooms are very comfortable and breakfasts delicious. I would definitely stay at Zagame’s house again.

So glad someone told me about this place… rooms so clean, trendy bathrooms and setting. Quiet sleep, restaurant meals were amazing, happy hour at bar. Staff were friendly - kindly stored something in the fridge for me while I attended an appt on check out day. Warm and welcoming staff and ambience. Will definatley stay again🌟🌟
