This hotel was a great place for us to stay for the Osaka portion of our Japan trip. There aren’t a lot of eating options nearby due to it being in a business district, but its closeness to the Osaka metro more than made up for it. It’s about a 2 to 3 minute walk to the nearest station, and we ended up taking the metro to every place we went in Osaka. Definitely a good place to stay if you’re looking for a base of operations in Osaka!

The hotel is in a fantastic area, minutes walk from two or three subway/train lines. It's quiet, safe, there's a Family Mart and a 7/11 right nearby. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean. Overall a very pleasant stay. My only complaint is with the hotel's laundry machines. They're 2-in-1 washer dryers, but do neither very well. ¥1000 and a couple hours later we were left with wet, uncleaned clothes - the machines seem to only work to give you wet clothes. The bed was also pretty hard, but it wasn't awful. You sleep well anyway. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveller staying in Osaka, but maybe do your laundry at a coin laundry nearby.

Close to several train entrances but not really near any restaurant. Quick walk down into the station and you could go anywhere to find shopping and food. Staff was extremely helpful and their amenities were great. Just a few steps awa was a Family Mart and felt safe going to get snacks or meal at midnight

The location was convenient. There are convenient stores within 5 minutes of walk and two subway stations within 10 minutes of walk. The neighborhood was quiet at night, and we felt safe while walking from a subway station back to the hotel at 11 pm. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection of Japanese dishes. The room was clean and comfortable. The only minor down side was that it was a little cramped. Laying suitcases flat would block the walkway between a wall and beds

We enjoyed our stay at Keihan. Clean, excellent customer service and near the subway stations. 2-in-1 washer/dryers were convenient and having detergent automatically included was nice. Depending on the timing, you would have to wait. Often our laundry was not fully dry though.
