My bathroom smell like sewage. Told them when we checked out and they only say “yeah we’ll check it just to get it over with. Small tiny room. Good and convenient area though

The location is very convenient as it is next to the subway and shopping areas. Service was excellent as staff speaks both Japanese and English. There is also the option of early check-in and late check-out. Some of the facilities left more to be desired, however this hotel is advertised as budget. It also has poor soundproofing especially at night. Overall, very good hotel if you value convenience over facilities.

Room was clean, quiet, and spacious. Our reservation included breakfast and the food was very good (mix of western and Japanese breakfast foods). We looked forward to breakfast in the morning. This is great because most stores and restaurants in Japan opened around 10:30 or 11. It was nice not having to eat convenience store food every morning. Daily housekeeping did a good job and we enjoyed our stay. Rooms were quiet and the staff was helpful and polite. You can also access the underground mall and transit hub directly from the hotel which is very convenient. Just head towards the East wing of the underground mall (Whity mall) from Osaka/Umeda station, the hotel entrance will be on your left.

Great hotel in a fabulous location.
This was a great hotel in a great location. As with many Japanese hotels, the rooms were very compact but comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot, it was a shame they didn’t have one of those small Japanese baths. The bed was nice and comfy too. The hotel is close to lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Public transport options are very handy and close by too.

We were here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay! My boyfriend found this bed to be the most comfortable of the 5 hotels we booked. We chose this hotel mainly for the proximity to Osaka/Umeda Station which we found great for getting around. There’s a station exit right next to the hotel. There are many affordable and tasty dining options close to the hotel, so you’ll never go hungry. Overall, this was a great stay!

The room itself was good, but the location was amazing. They have a separate elevator that takes you down to the underground shopping which directly connects you to the metro lines and local trains. It was only two stops from shin-Osaka train station if arriving by Shinkansen and also very easy to get to Itami airport. Easy to get to many points of interest. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Would stay again if in Osaka.

Ibis is a centrally located property with easy access to the main Osaka train stations. Its direct connection to the Whity underground mall is particularly appealing as it offers a convenient route to the train stations and numerous shops, providing shelter from the weather. The property is clean, and while the rooms are compact, they are more spacious compared to other properties I have experienced in Osaka. In terms of amenities, they are generally unremarkable, except for the internet services. The Wi-Fi speeds are slow at 9 Mbps, making it difficult to upload content efficiently, and there are no wired LAN ports available in the rooms. Despite these drawbacks, the property is commendable and a good choice for a stay.

We were only in Osaka for one night (for a Hanshin Tigers baseball game) and this was a nice hotel at a great price for our needs. Room was small, but that’s standard for Japan. Location was great, in short walking distance to Osaka Station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. Staff was friendly and helpful, and luggage storage was available so that we could leave our bags and explore the city before the official check in time. Overall, a perfectly nice experience.
