The only positive for this hotel is the staff which were always very nice regardless of who you ran into. We were disappointed in the quality of food at every place that we ate. Even the Steak House which was absolutely raved about was terrible. The room service items were the worse of all and the desserts consisted of warm cheesecake and a rock hard brownie. Beyond the food issues, the hotel is very run down. Paint chipping, roofs leaking in most buildings, no AC in some buildings, the elevators not working, etc. There were also some pretty bad smells. As soon we opened the door to leave the room it smelt like sewage. Our room was not the cleanest with splatters on the floor, patchy repair jobs, stained towels, and a hole in the wall under the bathtub. We had a two story room with a rooftop jacuzzi and we were not able to use it because it would never fill up beyond 1/4 full. The lights in the outdoor seating area didn’t work so we could not be up there at night, and the outdoor furniture mats were very dirty. The drinks were good at all the bars, but you can’t get drinks brought to your room. The only bar open after 8pm is in the lobby, which is all the way on the other side of the resort from our room and a pretty long walk. We never got served in the reserved Privilege areas at the pool either, which was a big bummer. I was really hoping to like this place and have it be our new go to but we are very disappointed and the only saving grace for this hotel is the staff.
