The service on check in was very friendly and welcoming. The whole property has a very nice, relaxed feel to it. The gardens and outdoor areas were very well maintained and the set up of the rooms all surrounding the pool and BBQ area were very nice. The room was spacious, modern and clean with a very comfortable bed. This hotel would be great for families with small children or group holidays.

I found the Southgate Motor Inn, very clean with my one-bedroom apartment cleaned daily while I was out. The only issues I had was that the Wi-fi kept cutting out and was very slow which didn't help with my workload, and the noise from the neighbouring apartments.

Stayed 2 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. Deanne was very welcoming in reception. The apartment was very spacious with a private courtyard. Comfy beds and nice shower. Great pool. Lovely quiet location with just a short walk to the Lake. Would definitely stay again.

The staff had impeccable customer service. The room was very clean and well presented bar a few small stains on the carpet. The little touches were great, such as a newspaper, and extra towels. Car parking was off street, easy to get into, and even caters for taller vehicles. The only downfalls were that there are some aesthetic maintenance issues I noticed could be taken care of, the A/C did struggle fir a while because of high ceilings, maybe a ceiling fan would be good, and a toilet brush in the bathroom would be super handy.

The motel room was bland and basic. The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the family in the room next door was loud and argumentative, and the sound carried through. It was good to have face washers provided.
