Hard and uncomfortable beds
Be aware that there is construction going on and bed-side lights are not working( apparently the bulbs are back-ordered). The front desk was very accommodating and made necessary concessions, however the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I have not experienced such uncomfortable beds in a Holliday Inn or any similar rated hotel ever. Did not get a restful sleep. 🙁

While much is made of the construction occurring within the hotel, I did not find it as a distraction and was overall very happy with this choice. Room was clean, modern with a firm and comfortable bed. Location is excellent, steps from the historic district. Ignore the construction and consider this hotel for your next stay. Recommend.

Wasn't the best. The whole place was under construction and if I would of known that I wouldn't of booked there. I felt like it was that I was in the way of all the construction then trying to relax. They should have called and offered a different location. Would of been good customer service.

No lobby as it was totally under construction. The rooms were newly updated. Shower floors were very slick and no grab bars. We had to go get a rubber shower mat. Maybe when they finish lobby, it will be better.

The hotel lobby was non existent,it was totally under construction. They notified us of that prior to arrival but too late to make other arrangements. Our room was on the main floor so the carpets in the hallway was dusty and dirty. Since there was no restaurant on site the front desk gave us a credit to dine elsewhere. That was appreciated.

Remodeling. Lobby was a disaster but the room was fine. Not really a normal experience, but the staff were really nice. A little far from the historic part of town for walking, but the trolley depot was pretty close (paid excursion). Well worth it for the convenience and price.
