A quick 2 day stay with my daughter between holidays. Basically it was a $200 a night hotel for $450!! Had no idea one could gouge hotel prices that much! Motel food, quality and overcrowding. Nothing personal, just a fact.

I know parking is limited in town, but charging for the parking on property, not a fan of that. Never had to do that before. I’m wondering what the reasoning behind it is. Confused. I’m paying for a room and there’s plenty of space to park on property. Makes no sense to me, just my car sitting in a parking space.

We went to St Augustine to see the Nights of Lights and chose this hotel for our stay. Other than some confusion of which Hampton Inn location our reservation was actually for (there are two fairly close together) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, the main hotel is clean and maintained and the staff are very friendly and promptly fulfill any need.
