WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO AT BIRD HILL:
If you like nature, birds, wildlife, peace and quiet, privacy and a central location for touring, Bird Hill is the place for you.
Bird Hill is a cosy, character filled home that's comfortable in every way. Great for everyone, the whole family, friends, couples, singles.
Bird Hill offers the whole package for a restful and true vacation, where olde world meets modern in a tasteful combination with nature at every window.
It was built as a holiday home and it still remains so today. It is an experience with a positive difference and one we hope will provide meaningful and long lasting memories for you.
A lot of care goes into preparing the cottage for your stay, from making it spotlessly clean to providing many special touches. We don't skimp on the products that are available for your use at the cottage, both in the bathroom, the kitchen and around the house.
We've also made sure that our furnishings are comfortable, practical and blend in with the theme in each room and that the beds are as comfortable as can be, with quality mattresses and linen.
The kitchen contains most things that you would need and more. There is an abundance of cooking things, quality crockery, plenty of cutlery and glasses of all types.
The wood heater makes for an extra cosy Winter's night and is very effective in heating the whole cottage. Of course it can be backed up with the gas ducted heating or used instead of a fire.
Bird Hill has a soulful and peaceful atmosphere with nature at every window. The private back deck allows an up-close view of the array of birds who visit. Some will even eat from your hand. It's an awesome experience.
We would say Bird Hill is a bird lovers haven although there is also an abundance of butterflies, amphibians, reptiles and other wildlife.
There are a lot of flowers, fruit and nut trees, vegetable gardens and herbs growing in the grounds, which you can use while you are at Bird Hill.
