The hotel was under construction. Very limited places to eat. Air conditioning in room was not working properly. They only had one trolley in the mornings. You had to arrive early to the lazy river if you went in the afternoon there were no tubes. Reservations were already booked for restaurants and we had just arrived. There were no adult swimming areas. Room service did not have a big selection only 6 things you could choice from and service was not available 24hrs. Loved the show they had every night.

The property is beautiful, the surroundings are amazing, rooms spacious, food was very good but waiters need to tend tables a little more. In one occasion I got up to get my own water because no one came to table until about 15 minutes after we sat down, young later in seafood area has no experience what so ever how to cook it, loved beach area, pools are huge, bar didn't know how to make some drinks that are very popular, but I would definitely go back again

Hard to get an ala cart reservation if you’re not a member. The TV didn’t work in our room, which wasn’t a huge problem, just a little inconvenient. The rooms are run-down but clean and AC worked well

No welcome drink. No information when we arrived about the resort. We were on the 3rd floor with children and we got locked out of the room and the only way to communicate with anyone from the resort was to walk back to the lobby which was far so if theres an emergency, good luck basically. The property had no ceiling fans so the only a/c or ventilation was in the coffee shop which was terrible. No music anywhere, they could of at least played something near the bar areas to keep people entertained.

I booked this hotel very last minute--- and appreciated they were able to accommodate us. First the not so good---The pictures did not exactly match--- the room was dated, especially in the bathroom. There could have been more restrooms for the size of the resort. Communication wasnt the best on activities the resort offered. The food was ok--- didn't have many options for me as I do not eat pork and the signage wasnt great. Due to the intial rating of the hotel, I might have had a bit higher expectations. The staff was very friendly and accomodating--- I would return to tulum/riveria maya area but not to this property.

The staff was wonderful! Marlene, Diana, and Ivan were fabulous hosts! The resort was very nice and accommodating considering the renovations they were undergoing. This was our second visit to Grand Sirenis and will absolutely consider a third visit! They were just finishing the renovations when we left and saw some of what was to come and it looks amazing! We look forward to seeing Marlene, Diana, and Ivan in the future!

absolutely love my stay here. I was very sad to leave. I cannot wait to go back and stay here once again. Definitely recommend this hotel has a disco. It has all the things family friendly for any group of people.

Nice resort; poor food options + customer service
Nice property. Limited entertainment. Great quality food at the buffet restaurant. Poor food quality and incompetent waiters at the “specialty” restaurants.

We stayed 2 years ago and were very happy with resort. This time with renovations most of what we enjoyed previously were closed. Most restaurants were not available, concierge making little efforts to accommodate with exception of Leo and Omar who were friendly and helpful. Will not plan to come back to this particular resort

My family and I had the best time at Grand Sirenis! The resort is wonderful in every aspect. We loved the beach and lazy river. The food was also really good. Lots of options to choose from. The shows at night were very well put together with really talented dancers. Another highlight was getting to see the dolphins onsite! Special shoutout to Ricardo at the front desk. He was so kind and helpful, making sure we had a great stay. Also, Erik in the main dinning hall was excellent. He's there for breakfast and lunch. The best waiter at the resort, so attentive and friendly! My only con would be the main concierge of our building. He was not very helpful and was barely there. Overall we had a great stay. They made us feel extra special for booking with Expedia. We would definitely recommend the Grand Sirenis :)
