A November weekend in Brighton.
I travelled down to Brighton with some friends to take part in the Brighton 10k run on Sunday 17th November. The hotel is nice but located in an old building so parts of the hotel felt quite cold at times. However, the breakfast was nice and the location is great and central to everything near by!

Great stay, very comfy bed, very lovely staff and useful when you want a takeaway to your room. The only things that could be better would be getting the windows cleaned and some minor mould on the ceiling. Also the breakfast cost was overpriced considering you could walk to Wetherspoons nearby and get the same for less (or get a too good go like I did). Overall great but could be amazing.

Very nice indeed.Definitely far superior to two other so called ‘four star’hotels on the seafront.All decor,fixtures and fittings modern and stylish.Great shower,strong flow and consistent hot temperature. Would have rated a five had it not been for the fact that my night was disturbed by a low hum of what sounded like something industrial coupled with a high pitch whistling noise which I reported to reception. Excellent spa facilities.

Very small room with little or no space to hang anything longer than a tee shirt. Bed squeezed into a corner so could only get in & out from one side which made it difficult for the one against the wall. Very expensive for such a room a small room & breakfast not included either. Wouldn’t stay there again

My "cosy" single room turned out to be a cramped room with inadequate storage and nowhere to sit. After two difficult nights when I had a serious bed malfunction, I was lucky to be upgraded into a super double. I can't fault the staff or the service. Breakfast was incredible and the spa facilities are excellent.

The contact of staff via WhatsApp after check in was easy and efficient; they responded quickly to all my queries. I appreciated the provision of an XL bathrobe when we asked. The staff were very nice and friendly, which made our stay more enjoyable. The spa was, as always, nice and pleasant. On the second night, there was some cleaning or refilling of the pool, but it didn't affect our overall experience. The view of the beach was great, though we could hear traffic during the day. One downside was the loud music from a college club at the beach that continued until around 3 AM, which was quite annoying. Despite this, we would still recommend staying here.

Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful although there was a member of staff on reception that was rather brusque. I felt that the room I stayed in, a single room, was overpriced at £148 with no wardrobe or hairdryer, the best thing was the feather duvet and pillows. In this instance I felt I was paying for location and not quality.
