Staff lovely, room not so much.
Staff were lovely and welcoming, however... * TV Remote was missing and the TV barely worked due to cable damage which was there when we arrived. * Big scratch on the TV screen also which was there before we first entered the room. * Puddle of damp water (we think and hope) just outside of the bathroom door which we were unsuccessful in mopping up or drying for the duration of our stay. * Breakfast was quite poorly organised, seemed to be a lot of chaos and confusion as people turned up before their slots and the food overall was average and served lukewarm. * Door lock was confusing and stiff - had to really give it force to both lock and unlock upon entry and exit to the room. * Bathroom door didn't shut properly, again, very stiff and wouldn't lock effectively.

The breakfast girls Izzy & Darmian was very kind , considerate & professional Rest for consecutive 02 nights, my room heating was not working properly , regardless of multiple requests on the main reservation counter, nobody turned up to correct it It was quite chilly to sleep for 02 nights If the heating was out of order, room should not be allocated and a better replacement was expected which was not there at all in first place

It is a lovely area but a very run-down hotel which for the price was disappointing. Terrible shower, damp issues across the walls, bad breakfast. I would not return.

This was a good find. Quiet non-smoking room overlooking trees. Parking, excellent location. Staff extremely nice. Generous breakfast. Very good value for money. Hot powerful shower. Only problem that there is no room for plugs to fit in the three plug sockets above the dressing table. So I had to boil the kettle on the bedside table.

Welcoming helpful staff. The rooms were clean enough and beds comfortable. Breakfast and service was good. Thankfully we got a parking space so this was not an issue for us. The hotel is in a nice part of Bristol and close to the sites we wanted to see so we didn’t need the car. I would consider staying there again. Lack of a lift was inconvenient at times.

The staff is amazing, the hotel is 20 minutes on foot to the center with plenty of buses going thru. The facility is deplorable. Stayed at a single non-ensuite and the shared shower they had barely dispensed water. I kid you not, there was barely a trickle. Have yet to see a hotel stayer who does not need a shower, it's a basic deliverable from an accommodation business. Rate is not cheap for the absence of this important facility and no amount of budget rate will ever make me want to stay at a hotel with no working shower. WON'T RECOMMEND.
