My partner and I have been to the Hilton 4 years in a row. This year we were leaving very disappointed and will have us looking at other resort options moving forward.
1) We had issues upon arrival with no tissues and empty bottles of body wash, shampoo. We told the staff and they brought us conditioner and body lotion. They called us that same night at 12AM when we were sleeping saying they noticed they delivered the wrong bottles and could attend now to deliver the correct ones
2) Unlike the other 3 years we were given conncecting rooms. We could hear all the noise from the groups in the adjacent rooms. We had to request new rooms as they were so loud
3) My partner was served raw/under cooked fish at Auma which we sent back. Manager came over to apologise but nothing else was offered/gestured
4) AC in new room did not work. Sent a maintance crew twice to our room before being switched to new another room
5) Eating at Vela buffet. I ordered an apple juice, took a sip, and pulled a long hair from my mouth that was still partially in the glass. I then also noticed there was an old peice of spinach on the outside of my glass.
6) Pool needs maintance. Tiles were chipping from inside the pool and a child could easily have swallowed the tile
Needless to say our experience was not great this time. I feel like this is the same for others as we overheard other families in the pool expressing how they to stayed at the hilton for several years and this years service declined
