Fourth time at Moon Palace-first time staying at the Grand. Family had a blast. Food/drinks were great as was the service. Only bummer was two water slides were not working (one at Grand, one at Nizuc). Plan on returning again in the future.

I'll start by saying this was the best all inclusive experience I've ever had. It suited our family perfectly. The Beach: When we first walked down I was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful white powdery soft sand. Hardly anyone there. Enough lounging chairs which were never completely occupied. There's a bar with attentive staff. The water is not crystal clear, but it's calm and it's warm...good enough for me. The Food: Never have I been to a resort with the assortment of food they had available. The quality of the food in the restaurants here were top notch and as authentic as you can get. We would eat at the buffet for breakfast, then lunch at "The Grill" or "Los Tacos", then we would have our reservations set for dinner. ***By the way, everything you need at the resort, you can easily navigate through their resort app. The Service: All I will say is the service staff is amazing. Friendly and attentive. No complaints. The Grounds: Beautiful. So much to do it's incredible. There's something for everyone. Kids stayed entertained at the water park, arcade, indoor playground..etc. The Pools: Loved all the pools. It didn't matter what time of day you decided to mosey on down to the pools. Surprisingly, there was always vacant chairs. Complaints: The only complaints I have is not of the resort or the staff, it's the small percentage of people who act like complete slobs, and think it's ok to waste copious amounts of food. Disgusting to see. Overall, loved this place!

Property has absolutely everything for everyone. Amazing. Some very minor complaints that maybe not even with mentioning. 1. It seemed difficult to find spoons in the restaurants. 2. Not a lot of ketchup around. Had to always ask for the little packets. Other than that, my must favorite resort I've been to.

Moon palace is a beautiful resort, a literal palace built out of marble. Everything had a touch of luxury from the lobby to the dining rooms. Food was delicious and had plenty of variety between the grand buffet and restaurant options. My kids loved the water park which helped keep them entertained everyday. And we spent some time everyday in the Dreamery kids center to keep them busy. We hope to come back again!

The property is massive and you need a train to transport you almost everywhere in the property those are very infrequent. In the evenings there are raccoons outdoors and often in the hallways of where rooms are located which is scary. My room smelled musty the first day and my quilt was dirty. The food is excellent and so are the facilities but not worth the money they charge.

Everything is great about this place. All staffs were so nice. I would like to give special thanks to room service, folks at bar, restaurant waiters and cart service. Restaurant , bar and food is opulent. They have top restaurants from each cuisine. Lot of things for kids to enjoy and get overwhelmed. Beaches are some of the fantastic ones. Outside of hotel activities are available through concierge or Expedia or similar services. We choose concierge because we are not familiar with the place. Having said that , Cancun itself is a modern city in US standard. Rooms could have been little better in my view. But they compensated that without any questions. One thing that made the whole trip little sour is the membership program. That one place where we got heckled verbally for declining their offer. The way one person behaved with us got all the negative thoughts popped up in my head what we had heard about this place. If you are seriously looking for the membership program, research it and then go with your negotiation. If not l, decline the offer from beginning and enjoy the stay. Second is , merchandises in the resort are pricy and most of them are not covered by store credit. If you want buy souvenirs, buy from outside.

We loved the room upgrade that we were offered! The service, food and amenities were great like always! The only negative is the beach at The Grand is not the turquoise water. But we did take advantage and used the sister resorts Beach Palace and Sun Palace to get the turquoise waters.

We LOVED our stay at Moon Palace. We stayed at the Grand, & it was beautiful! We arranged offsite trips through the hotel & enjoyed each one! Staff, food, hotel, & amenities were top notch. My only complaint is the high pressure sales at the time of departure. They would be more effective to email me a discount to return a week later, than try to high pressure me into buying another stay before I can leave the property.

My fiancé and I were a little nervous being this was our first family trip with our 5 year old son. From the time we arrived to moon palace the grand they took care of us. The hotels app was very easy to navigate. Room service, entertainment times and location, spa appointments, all at the palm of your hand. My son was in love with the water park, mini putting and arcade. Can’t wait to book again soon.

There is lots to do, esp. for kids. Staff was extremely nice. Property was very clean, but the room could use some updating and refresh. Our in-room service had a few misses, but staff otherwise were great.

The VIP Expedia concierge and the room upgrade were excellent. Down side is the sales pitch on the way in and out to purchase the Palace membership. Members have access to pool seats, food service at pools and jump the line at restaurants which made you feel somewhat like a second class guest. If you want clear waters and you like to spend your time in the sea, look elsewhere in Cancun.
