Worst vacation experience i have ever had. Staff needs to remember who is footing the bill. Adults only resort where pools close at 7pm and restaurants dont allow you to enter in swimwear of any kind. Toilets didnt flush properly. Food servings were way too small. Etc etc etc

The pool needs repair on it, pool lights were hanging in the pool and top edge of the pool needs repairing too. No music at the pools. There was No Service around the pool. They ran out of some of the liquor and didn’t get any in for a couple of days. This resort is very short staffed and some of the workers was tried and aggravated When you asked for something. The Hyatt needs to better!!!

We stayed at this property in 2016 Since that time it appears the property has undergone some negative changes This trip16 people, 8 rooms Good: Remodeled room (1 of the 8) new room layout No dinner reservations Drinks in lobby bar Canned Beer Bottled water in lobby always Desk manned 24/7 Dock Beach Coffee shop Bad: Inconsistencies in each room In room some got candy chips liquor apples none of the above Steamer only 1 room Robes only 1 room & got removed, not replaced Hairdryer only 2 rooms Wash rags taken & not replaced Hand towels MAYBE I called desk to ask for missing items hairdryer & iron at 6:55 was told to call back because his shift was over I did & NEVER recd Need drawers in rooms One bartender at swim up bar - find another job No shots? Why not? Time restrictions for PC only need to be listed on signs ex:Oceanic Entertainment needs tons of help Its sad Brandon is gone he was the best The kid running volleyball was trying Last time activities were well organized & energy of team made you want to participate They would engage multiple times a day and remind what was going on where & evening events Lack of maintenance COVID or Hyatt? Lots of things need to be addressed! Leaks in 2 different bathrooms in building 14 YUCK CLEAN YOUR POOLS! All the pools needed scrubbed & water added There is more to pools than just adding chemicals Not enough staff (or supplies) for the size of the resort We (might) be back but it's NOT what it used to be and that's just sad.

Anteriormente me hospedé en secrets Huatulco y por eso decidí hospedarme de nuevo en su cadena, pero nada que ver. La comida pésima en especial el desayuno, la comida de mala calidad, áreas sucias, poca variedad, el servicio lento y poco amable, con sus excepciones. En ningún momento me ofrecieron “habitación preferencial” y fue incomodo el ser excluido de zonas preferenciales dentro del hotel, como restaurantes. Dos días seguidos dure esperando 3 horas una toalla para la alberca, porque no había, 1 hora esperando un servicio al cuarto, la habitación es vieja.

Severely Understaffed / Being a preferred guest gets no perks except access to one restaurant / Rooms are hit or miss, we came with 4 couples so we had 4 preferred suites. 2 rooms the A/C barely worked, and 1 room flooded. / They charged excursions and wine package to one of our rooms that we didnt do and continued to argue that we did but never could show the paper we "apparently" signed. We had a great time "In Downtown Cozumel" but the hotel was a dissapointment.

The staff there is amazing, hotel is a little dated but they will make accommodations to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, unless you pay the extra for Preferred booking, there aren’t many indoor/air conditioned options to utilize aside from your room.

I loved everything about Secrets. We stayed in a Preferred room and loved it. Quality service from the moment you get there till the time you leave. The pools are great. I can’t wait to return.

I felt like the property was lacking. No coffee in the coffee shop, the preferred lounge never had cups, creamer and also ran out of coffee. You weren’t allowed to carry food to the beach. Our friends room AC didn’t work, rooms didn’t have irons or steamers.

Our stay was fantastic! The food was very good and the staff was wonderful! The entertainment team especially was spectacular. Arbey, Diego and Irving made our stay so much fun and very memorable.

Front desk staff was rude, resort, for the most part, closed at 10:30 pm, unless you wanted to go to their tiny little night club.Pablo, the front desk manager, was the rudest person I have ever dealt with in 9 trips to Mexico! I do not recommend staying at this resort! Enrique, at the Manatee Pool Bar, was awesome!

Room had no hot water. Never knew which bar was going to be open & for how long. The staff was not overly helpful or friendly EXCEPT for Enrique at the Manatee bar by the pool. Will never go back there

Me and my girlfriend had the time of our lives last weekend! The food was great and bar was GENEROUS haha. She’s normally very picky about things and I can’t remember her even complaining once. Highly recommend. Thanks Secrets!

The resort is older. Room was huge. Everything met my expectations. Maintenance is an issue. Should not see wires on any of the pool lights and I saw three different pool lights not seated properly and wires were exposed. There was also a crocodile on the beach and the hotel staff did not appear too concerned about it. No warning signs, caution tape, etc.
