Fantastic views of Dubai eye, palm and Bluewaters from sea view rooms. Location can be noisy at night as in the middle of everything. Great to have plenty of restaurants to choose from on the walk.

Disliked: Room comfort
Excellent but uncomfortable
Location and the customer service was absolutely fantastic however the pool is dated and constantly in the shade and this makes it redundant to use. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. We like a firm bed normally but this bed left us tossing and turning through the night and waking up with aches and pains every day. Not helped by the fact that we were woken every night to the screeching of chairs being dragged across the tiled floor by the rooms above us. The hotel should put rugs or carpet underneath these as it really was so terrible and constant. We cannot be the first to comment on this. By the end of our trip my partner was nearly in tears with tiredness which did taint our last few days of the holiday. If the bed was comfortable and the chair noises were resolved we would stay again as we said, the customer service and location was brilliant.

Accessing a lift often involves long wait times, which can be frustrating. The club lounge rooms fall short in terms of amenities, offering no vegan food options and a very limited selection of drinks during happy hours. Additionally, they don’t provide basic accompaniments like crisps or nuts with drinks during this time.

Property was good but the room was not sound proof or Windows because there was heavy sound/noise from outside . We couldn’t sleep properly because of this noise

This was our first time in Dubai and we really enjoyed our stay here. The property was in a great part of Jumeriah Beach and the views from our room were amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive, helped us with an early check in after a very long flight, the room was comfortable and the facilities lovely. We would highly recommend staying here. Great spot, great hotel and great staff.

Excellent first stay at Amwaj Rotana highly recommend as the service was brilliant all round. However on the last two days the receptionist/front desk staff member WEIM was absolutely awful. I witnessed her on two separate occasions being rude to elderly guests - pulling faces, moaning and all round being a disgruntled employee. When my husband asked her if everything is ok as she was very grumpy she made a remark saying she didn’t ‘want to be here’ and would rather go home. It wasn’t pleasant to witness and really bought down the overall experience of the hotel.

The hotel lives to its 5 star rating and is even better than some of the 5 star hotels in the area for what you get in the price you pay. The only thing that it requires is more elevators because the wait is a couple minutes. Also, the phone to reception or in-room dining was at times not working for my room. The welcoming you receive at the entrance is truly warming. Notable mention is Ahmed at the valet. He is exceptional.
