Excellent - clean, central location, the pool is excellent for adults and families. Staff are friendly and always there to help. The suite is perfect for families with young children. Need to improve - lifts, every day it seems like only one or two is working, stops at every floor. There are 6 lifts but it doesn’t work very well. - pillows were too hard - I didn’t ask for better ones because I was too tired every night - AC is intermittently working, one room it was too cold or too hot. - Godiva downstairs is useless, no coffee or ice cream available. - the hotel needs a coffee shop - breakfast is very good but the options feel the same every day. Some variation will be nice, better selection of cakes/pastries. - waiter service by the pool is slow, takes a while to get someone’s attention

My wife and I stayed 1 week at the Rixos Premium JBR. The hotel and facilities were excellent. The superior room we stayed in was spacious and had sea views across to the big wheel and Palm. The pool area and loungers were first class. There were lots of great restaurants both in the hotel and nearby. The nearest tram stop which links to the train Metro is just 10 minutes walk away. We definitely made the right choice staying on The Walk at JBR and the Rixos ticked all the boxes

The Rixos is a stunning hotel. would give it 10/10 for room luxury and staff service. The buffet restaurant for breakfast is excellent with all the variety one would want. We dined there two evenings and found quality and variety second to none. The 'payable' pool area would recommend as it is more exclusive and quieter. Thoroughly recommend and one of the best hotels we have stayed in. There wasn't anything we did not like but a few things to be aware of 1) Like many of the hotels on Jumeirah, the pool and beach area face north hence with the high rise buildings (inc. the hotel itself) it can be quite dark outside until @ mid -day. 2) Smoking is widespread in Dubai and we found some in the bar and pool area to be annoying 3) Jumeirah area is far from many of the attractions in the city (@45 mins taxi) so need to plan days.

Management really rude and disrespectful this time round, before I had never had any issues with staying at the Rixos, but this time round really disappointed and sadly me or any of my family members will ever return there again. We tend to go away to enjoy and relax and that wasn’t that case this time. There are plenty of other amazing hotels that we would gladly go back to and they will be appreciative for the return stays.
